High-performing everywhere… except in your relationship?
I’ve noticed something interesting lately when talking to founders and creators. Highly capable people who build incredible businesses, solve complex problems, and execute at a high level… are often getting surprisingly mediocre results in one place: their relationship. Not because they don’t care. Not because they’re bad partners. Usually it’s because the relationship slowly gets pushed to the back burner while they focus on building, scaling, and solving the next challenge. Over time that creates friction. Then a little distance. Then conversations start feeling heavier than they should. The irony is that the same people who are brilliant at optimizing systems rarely apply that same intentional thinking to their relationship. And yet one strong, connected partnership can give you more confidence, resilience, and emotional fuel than almost anything else in life. Curious how others here think about this: How do you protect your relationship while still pursuing big goals? I’d love to hear what’s working (or what’s been hard).

@Eileen MacDonell that’s such a beautiful story. The commitment was unwavering even when things were not progressing the way you’d hoped. I have the same sort of support and I’m grateful for it every day. How good does it feel to be past those particular struggles and have the energy to focus on the things he needs you for now? These are the relationships that I want people to strive for. Not perfect, we are all human, but supportive, connected and committed. ❤️❤️❤️

@Eileen MacDonell that’s right. I think it’s crucial to allow the connections outside the business tasks.
Why would you ignore an asset?
Truth is we don’t always see the assets closest to us. The things that are there day in and day out - but just… there. Unused, under appreciated. What if I told you the asset I’m referring to is your partner?! What? No way. Yes way my friend. The value of a fresh perspective is crazy. A fresh pair of eyes that wants you to succeed as much as you do. Sure they may not know your business or your area of expertise the way you do, but they do have skills and insights and it’s being different from you that makes them the most valuable. Not to mention the conversations that come from it, and the intentional time spent together. And after your conversation? Why not share a great meal, even cook together! Connection is crucial to nurture your relationship, and your relationship is crucial to fulfillment and a future filled with happiness. Join me, The Relationship Chef, and my growing community and let’s make connection a priority.

Believe in Yourself (Before Anyone Else Does)
Most people don’t fail because they lack ability. They fail because they stop trusting themselves. Confidence isn’t loud. It’s quiet consistency—showing up even when no one is clapping. In this video, I talk about: - Why self-belief comes before results - How doubt slowly kills momentum - The one mindset shift that keeps you moving forward 🎥 Watch If this hits home, drop a comment: 👉 Where in your life do you need to believe in yourself more right now? https://youtu.be/ul8JD6JP-9w?si=5QffbN1dksGh0Mc4

Another great video @Aslam Khatri ! Your insights are really valuable. Confidence is probably the thing I struggle with most.
Do you have a partner IRL… Or just a figurehead?
Legitimate question. If you have a partner, are they willing to support you? Because if they aren’t, are they really a partner? Of course, I don’t mean financially. I’m talking about that emotional support, that intellectual support. Talking to your partner, bouncing ideas off of them. Including them in the process so to speak. Everyone is guilty of that sometimes. “Oh, I don’t want to ask my partner because they don’t know what I’m doing”. In reality, everybody has unique skills and abilities. And sometimes a fresh perspective can give you a little bit of insight. Especially when that fresh perspective comes from somebody who loves and supports you unconditionally. Because chances are your partner wants you to succeed as much as you want to succeed. So why not let them in on the process of it. Lean on them, take advantage of that powerful tool called a relationship. You might be surprised. -Krista The Relationship Chef. Not everyone everyone’s flavor and that’s the point.

@Aslam Khatri that’s wonderful - and probably part of why you’re still going strong

@Lauren Baetz oh that makes me so happy to hear! A relationship that’s struggling is so difficult to navigate. But if there’s any love at all, I always believe it’s worth repairing. The financial cost of divorce is huge of course, but the emotional cost is also high. You’ve made some progress, keep growing on that ❤️
I want to help as many people as possible with this one!🙌🚀

@Kate Bullock I know what you're saying! Amazing to have all these connections, but the notifications are crazy! I think it's a sign we're doing something good, though.
