Thank you Pastor Leah I needed to hear my mind was telling to give up when I just started and telling me you don’t understand what your doing but that when I said to my self I’m just beginning I know I can do this and where there is challenge there is change so I’m going to continue to push through and I’m so grateful to be part of this Heath program 🤗
Don’t JUST look at the scale…
What’s up HWPD-ers🙌🏽 Here’s something important for ya ⬇️ Don’t measure your progress just by the number on the scale!! A lot of times, people end up discouraged if it’s moving slowly. STAY COMMITTED🔥 TRUST THE PROCESS🗣️ Real progress shows up in more ways than one. Are you lifting heavier than last month? Do you have more energy throughout the day? Are you showing up more consistently? Are you making healthier decisions without even thinking about it? Is your mental health better? Are your finances going up??🤔 All of that IS transformation. The scale is one small piece of what’s actually happening in your body and your life. You’re building systems and foundations that will cause you to build, flourish, and overflow🌊 Redefine what progress is for yourself and start measuring yourself differently this week! Take a real assessment of where you’re at👇🏽 - Where are you more consistent/stronger, and what progress have you made so far that has nothing to do with the scale? - What’s working for you? - Where do you want to see results that you haven’t yet? - What’s your next step to lock in a little bit more? 👉🏽COMMENT below so you can grow, and let’s keep pushing💥

I’ve been more consistent on going to the gym I’m noticing my tummy going down. I have not looked at a scale ever since I started working out and don’t plan to. And what is working for me is staying motivated and wanting to commit to everything I do and as I’m taking this journey, I feel I have more energy. I’m doing more things around the house and with the kids. I’ve noticed eating better and lesser, I would like to see more results on me waking up early. My next step to lock in is to sleep early because I need to value my sleep time as well so I can wake up early.

As you prepare for next week, remember that meal prep doesn’t have to be immaculate, just keep it clean and simple! Grab a lean protein, some veggies, jasmine rice (or cauliflower rice for lower carbs), and throw a lil sauce on it🤌🏽 Here’s a quick recipe that’s high protein/low fat😋 Lemon Herb Chicken & Veggie Bowl Serves 1 420 cal Protein: 50g Carbs: 38g Fat: 6g Ingredients: • 6 oz chicken breast, sliced thin • 1 cup zucchini, chopped • 1 cup cherry tomatoes • ½ cup white rice (dry) — sub cauliflower rice to cut carbs • 1 lemon • 1 tsp olive oil • Garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper Instructions: 1. Season chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high — cook chicken 5-6 min per side until done 3. Remove chicken, toss zucchini and tomatoes in the same pan for 4-5 min 4. Cook rice according to package (or microwave cauliflower rice — 3 min) 5. Squeeze fresh lemon over everything or throw some sauce on it 😉
