Presenting to chefs
yesterday I presented my business card to 2 chefs that work on different restaurants, upon arriving to my house I realized that my presentation left al lot to be desired . I was nervous and left out information . I need to polish my approach . Anyone have a tip please include it here so everyone who is struggling with this topic can use them to be more successful.

I do the exact same approach as Bill and Cindy. Only difference is I take a small 4oz Chef Select sample container for them to taste. I use a combo of Cantaloupe, sunflower, radish, leeks, or amaranth. The cantaloupe and leeks have been BANGERS so I promote them as "specialty" crops. As they are being wowed by flavor I zero in on selection of a full sample crop for the following week. This way I am growing something they use rather than wasting seed on what I think they want. I do steer them in the direction of my 10 day grows rather than the longer specialty items so i can follow up quickly. I just started doing this about 2 weeks ago and have 4 potential restaurants interested. Happy hunting!!

Pic from a customer. Butternut squash soup with Micros blended in and garnished on top.
Pretty Popcorn
Ain’t this pretty? Enough for our restaurant order plus 2 samples for others. 😊

@Bill and Cindy Rooney How do you package to keep them out of the light?? Also how long do they last (post light exposure) before turning bitter?
🔥 The "No Sales Pitch" Sales Test 🔥
Without selling directly, describe why your microgreens are valuable in one sentence. Example: “My microgreens stay fresher longer because I harvest them within 24 hours they’re delivered.” Let’s see who can write the most compelling one!

Hand-selected for peak freshness and bold flavor, our microgreens bring vibrant color, delicate texture, and nutrient-rich intensity to elevate every dish with a chef’s touch.
Microgreen Smoothie, Anyone?
We drink a smoothie most days- Its a great way to get your greens in! Most days the recipe stays the same: 6-8oz Microgreens (Broccoli, Kale, Red Cabbage, or any combination of the three) *Usually I just split a tray in half, most trays yield at least 12-16oz 1 Banana 6-8 Strawberries (depending on size) I use the "Extract" setting on the Ninja which takes 75 seconds and really gets a smooth consistency even with the strawberry seeds. I do this twice... unless one of the kiddos want one too- then I grab another tray & make more :) What's your Go-To Microgreen Smoothie Recipe?

Smoothie trials: Wondering if anyone has tried this or not?? The Smoothie Blend is listed as as Sunflower, Broccoli, and Kale... what about Sunflower + Mild Mix?? It basically has broccoli and kale plus a few added bonuses, but I wonder if there is a large impact to flavor?? It would also free up some real estate as it would negate growing 3 separate trays. Any thoughts out there?
