Something funny came up in a conversation yesterday with @Lara Knutzen in another group… she called me out (in the best way) and said I should share more about myself. So here’s a little more of my story 👇 I had my son in 2021, and like many of you probably know… life shifts fast. Not just the responsibility, but the financial pressure that comes with it too. By the end of 2022, I knew I needed to create something for myself, something that could bring in income without trading more time I didn’t have. That’s when I started exploring passive income. 💰 I remember seeing an ad about making money with books, and my first thought was honestly… there’s no way. Writing a book felt like a huge, overwhelming task. But then I took a step back. I had a background in web and graphic design. I had years of experience in digital marketing. I am an SEO professional. The only thing I felt like I was “missing” was being a writer. And then it clicked… I didn’t actually need to be one. So I went for it. Fast forward to today...I’ve published 12+ books and generated over six figures in royalties… and it was all part-time. And as someone who’s naturally introverted, I didn’t build this by chasing people or convincing anyone to buy. I built systems that work for me—where the right people find the books. That’s the part I fell in love with. At first, I was completely content just doing this quietly on my own. But in 2024, I went to a business conference and started sharing what I was doing. The response surprised me. People kept saying, “You need to teach this.” So… here we are. This community isn’t just about making extra money. It’s about creating something that actually supports your life… not the other way around. For me, this has been about building income in a way that feels aligned, flexible, and sustainable.
