🧠 THE CAMERA IS NOT THE MIRROR.
🧠 THE CAMERA IS NOT THE MIRROR. This is one of the hardest things to internalize — and it separates trainees who look great in practice from performers who actually book. In the mirror, you get a symmetrical, real-time, full-body view. You can adjust instantly. The camera gives you: a single angle, a slight delay, and zero forgiveness on half-committed moments. Here's what this means for your training: ➤ "Performance Face" is not a face. It's a decision. Every 8-count, you must make a conscious choice about where your eyes go and what they communicate. Glazed eyes = checked-out performer. Even if your technique is clean. 🎯 DRILL — The 3-Second Rule: 1. Film an 8-count facing the camera 2. Watch it back. Within the first 3 seconds — did you invite the viewer in? 3. If your gaze drifted, your intention wasn't set before you moved 4. Redo it: intention first, then movement Technique + presence = performance. Technique alone = drill video. Drop a 👁️ if you're guilty of dancing for the mirror.

Audition opportunity
Hey everyone! 🌟 I just came across some huge news for all the dancers and aspiring idols in our community. Mnet has officially announced the global auditions for Girls Planet 2! This is a massive opportunity if you’ve been dreaming of a global debut. Here are the key details I gathered from the latest update: Audition Overview - Target: Girls worldwide (all nationalities and residences). - Age Requirement: Must be born before January 1, 2013. - Experience: Open to everyone—independent trainees, agency trainees, or even those who have already debuted. How to Apply The application period opened on May 1st and is ongoing until further notice. You’ll need to: 1. Fill out the application form: You can find the link/QR code via Mnet’s official Instagram or the Boys Planet official account. 2. Prepare 3 Videos (approx. 1 min each): 3. Submit: Send your videos to the designated audition email. Pro-Tips for Your Submission - No Filters: Avoid using beauty filters, caps, or anything that hides your face [00:04:52]. - Show Your Personality: Since it's a survival show, they are looking for "personality hires" as much as talent. If you have a unique skill (like playing an instrument or a funny talent), make sure to showcase it to stand out [00:01:46]. - Consent: If you are a minor, you'll need a signed parental consent form [00:08:17]. If you're looking for more details on the form or how to stand out, check out the full breakdown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c3f384fJqg Is anyone from our group planning to audition? I’d love to hear what songs or choreographies you’re thinking of preparing! Let's support each other! 💃✨

👕 Help Me Design Our New Fashion Line!
Hey everyone! I’m currently in the lab working on the upcoming fashion line, and I want this collection to be something you actually want to wear. Instead of me just guessing what looks good, I want to hear directly from you. What kind of designs are you looking for right now? I’m looking for your thoughts on: - Vibe: Minimalist/Clean, Bold/Streetwear, Vintage/Retro, or something else? - Graphics: Big statement prints, subtle embroidery, or clean basics? - Fit: Oversized and baggy, or tailored and structured? - Color Palette: Neutrals (earth tones, black, white) or bright, popping colors? Drop a comment below with your ideas! If you have any specific "must-haves" or even reference photos of styles you're loving lately, post them here. Can’t wait to see what you guys are feeling! 👇

I think a bolder aesthetic within streetwear would work really well. Something with minimalist prints or even graffiti-style lettering (if it has words). In terms of design, I would suggest oversized/baggy pieces as a base, and perhaps some more fitted versions to create variation in the collection. For colors, you could start with one of the palettes and then, in a later phase, explore the other version to expand the line. I also think bolder cuts can help highlight the pieces and give them a more unique touch. If you want, you can send me a private message here or on my Instagram so I can help you (I'm almost finished with my fashion design course and I don't mind helping and I don't charge anything because I'm doing it willingly).
Sneak peak...Let me know your thoughts
I’ve been working hard on my clothing brand behind the scenes, and I couldn't wait any longer to show you guys a preview of the "In-Motion" line. (I have sweat pants in the making as well) It’s built for movement and style. Coming very soon. ⏳ Drop a comment below: 1. What are your first thoughts on the design? 2. Honestly… would you order this? 🙋‍♀️
