Day 1
A gold-markets newsletter automation in Claude Code, built on the WAT framework (Workflows, Agents, Tools). I give it a gold topic and it emails a branded, fact-checked briefing end-to-end: pulls real gold price + volatility from a broker (never invents a number), runs two Perplexity passes (news drivers + social pulse from X/YouTube/Reddit), has Claude write the copy grounded in sources, renders a real price chart, and sends a branded HTML email archiving every paid call. (screenshots attached) 💡 One thing I learned Perplexity isn't just web search with domain filters it searches social media too (X, YouTube, Reddit), so I get real sentiment, not just news. GPT Image Gen 2 (via kie.ai) also felt more capable than Nano Banana. Two gotchas: emails clip above ~102 KB, and phone dark mode breaks a plain black/white logo (the background flips but the logo doesn't). 🔧 One thing I'd improve Be more specific in my prompts. Vague asks gave output that missed what I pictured the more concrete detail I gave, the closer it landed. Next time: lead with precise requirements, not vague direction. #AISChallenge

I am trying to build this too, but for the real estate market. Can you share your journey, tips and tricks, and what works?
Claude Fable 5 is powerful, but how do you manage the 2x usage cost?
Fable 5 feels like a very strong model, especially for coding, planning, and automation work. But since it can use more credits than regular models, I’m curious: how are you maximizing every credit? Do you use Fable 5 only for complex tasks, start with a lighter model first, or use prompt templates to avoid wasting usage?

@Rana Zia this is fire! thanks for the idea!
Voice AI Agent: Appointment Scheduling
I'm developing a voice-based AI agent for scheduling appointments. If you've done this before, what's your setup?

You might want to consider ElevenLabs for a more realistic voice experience. I’d also suggest using an AI setup that can detect the lead’s tone and emotions during the call, so the agent can respond more naturally instead of sounding too scripted. That could make the appointment-setting flow feel more human.

@Baltha Money Great question. For ElevenLabs latency, I think it really depends on the setup. The voice quality is great, but for real-time calls, latency can be the main tradeoff. I’d usually test it with streaming, shorter responses, and a fast voice model to keep the conversation natural. For Google Calendar, I’d connect the voice agent to the Google Calendar API or use tools like Make, Zapier, or n8n. The flow would be: capture the date/time, check availability, confirm with the lead, then create the calendar event and send a confirmation.
What’s the first AI skill every beginner should learn?
AI can feel overwhelming because there are so many tools, prompts, automations, and agents out there. If someone is just starting today, what is the one skill you think they should focus on first? prompt writing, automation, coding, content creation, or something else?

@Bhargab Das @Tony Bear I agree with both of you. Validating the real problem and talking to actual users should always come first before building anything. At the same time, AI can be a huge help in speeding up the research, organizing feedback, finding patterns, and turning messy ideas into clearer next steps. For me, the best use of AI is not to replace thinking, but to make the thinking process faster and more structured.
Whats your experience with Claude Fable 5 ??
I now have been using Fable 5 for two days. I'm very optimistic and positive about the tooling. It's very fast, but although it has two tight guardrails for me and the system is overloaded for to many times. was wondering what everybody else is experiencing and how you are using it ?

@Carlos Santiago Claude Fable 5 is one of Anthropic’s newer and more advanced models, especially strong for coding, automation, and agent-style work.

@Carlos Santiago no, I don’t think you’re too late. AI is still changing very fast, so starting now is still a great time as long as you keep learning and building.
