The deer have been gathering lately as if in a Hitchcock movie. Seem harmless enough but then so did those birds.

I hope everyone is great! Last weekend was crammed with late nights and busy dance events and this weekend I've arrived in Florida . That Love of the process was in a tough one when you dont have much spare brain power lol. The biggest process I deal with is dance but photos are always some else's image. I realized I had some video from rehearsing and grabbed several screen shots to pick one that felt fitting! I'm not sure if i'll be able to join tomorrow since Im visiting my mom and i have three other dance related zooms happening too ;) I'll try to pop on if only for a few !

The process I’m choosing is slow shutter speed. The effects very accordingly to the shutter speed selected. This technique has a very artistic quality on a photograph that can mimic brushstrokes on the painted canvas.

I haven't been able to get involved in this group since I joined. I had a lot of S**t going on 🤣. In this shot, I arrived at just the right moment to capture the young chef with her pan in full flame. I was out in Brighton, putting my newly purchased camera through its paces. I decided to stick with Sony since I’m already familiar with the menu system and didn’t feel the need to switch brands. To be honest, I don’t think there’s a huge difference between most modern cameras these days. That said, after watching quite a few (okay… a lot!) of YouTube reviews, I’m convinced that the Sony system has the edge when it comes to autofocus performance. I also treated myself to the Sony G Master 16–35mm f/2.8 and the G Master 100–400mm, so I’ll be out testing gear for the coming weeks… months… maybe even years! 😄👍

We have eagles that fly over that occasionally fly low and perform aerial maneuvers that prompted me to break out the camera. I’m thinking about renaming my camera to Eagle Repellent because when they do fly by now they are too high for photos. Still have a few subjects though.
