A reflection from this week's live session...
This month we're working on boundaries and on the live session this week, we talked about personal vs. professional boundaries. I realized something: we're often better at setting one but not the other. My challenge for you is to do reflect on where your boundaries are strong and where they might need a little bit of work. Maybe they need work all around! That's okay too. In your practices this month, try to think about where your boundaries are strongest and use that momentum to strengthen the weaker areas! Tell me, where could you use more boundaries?

Still learning and leaning into the intentional slowing down , and taking the moment to do one breath or one stretch and letting that be enough. Navigating all the doing, which we all gotta do! But/and prioritizing taking time to pause as well…not because I ‘deserve ‘ it but because I require it . 💜
Great group tonight🤩
Small crew but mighty! Lynn and I had a great chat and talked about somatic breathing and all the things. Something we can all relate to is trying something new that we're excited about and for whatever reason, the "thing" or class or whatever it is, just doesn't vibe. I've personally experienced this many times as well. I recall going to a yoga class years ago that was highly recommended by a friend of mine. During the class I caught myself thinking "what, really?". The instructors words didn't resonate with me and I left kinda disappointed to say the least. But, and this is probably the most important thing. I tried another class later and loved the instructors style and flow. She set the space in a way that felt right to my nervous system, so nothing felt forced. My mind was able to chill and it was a great experience. So, something I heard once about food is to try things 3 times because often on the 3rd time a switch can flip. Maybe it's the environment you try it in, your age, taste buds current phase etc. Maybe life is kinda like that. It's a bummer when you spend time and money on an experience and it just doesn't hit, but/and if you keep trying, try another bite, class, another teacher etc, it's got a much higher chance. It definitely won't if you don't try. And there are some things...black licorice, oysters, and heavy metal for me...that will never be my thing, and that's OK!😂 Anybody had this happen. How did it work out, if at all? Feel free to share!
Great group tonight🤩
