Needing to change link
I really want to have better metrics for my reader magnet ad since I'm running group promos and a FB ad right now. Am I right in thinking we were told to not change the link or it'll have to learn all over again? The only way I could think of to know for certain if a conversion is coming from the ad or a group promo was to duplicate the landing page.

@Jill Cooper I really want to know how many conversions are coming from my FB ads compared to the Bookfunnel group promos.

@Malorie Cooper Literally changing the last part of the link (I duplicated the sign up page so I'll be able to see what's actually coming from FB)

@Jennifer Smith Well, poo! LOL I loved going down there for Inkers and I miss my bartender and the boardwalk, lol.
How many ads?
I'm sure the answer is somewhere, but this is me we're talking about... I'm still only advertising my reader magnet, but so far, I'm happy with the results. Where this is a new pen name and the only things I'm doing are a single FB ad (for now) and a couple of Bookfunnel promos, I'm okay with 240 sign ups for $40. Now, if I'm way off base and should be upset about that, tell me, lmao. This is a single image trope-map, 13¢/result, 7393% CTR (starting to drop slightly). Should I set up more? And if so, same campaign but new ad sets? Or whole new campaign? I'm also considering running one (some?) to book one, even though book two is coming later this month, because I'm willing to invest and take a short-term loss to see some positive movement on the pen name. Good idea? Goofy? Shut up and wait and the answers shall be revealed, Quinn?

@Jill Cooper You should know by now that if you let me in, I'm going to cause problems, lmao
Lookalike Audiences
I know that, in the past, lookalike audiences were a thing for FB ads. Is that still a thing? Is there a way to hone in a bit to people like those on your newsletter list? Asking because right now my FB page the ads are associated with is a ghost town. I'm wondering if there are things I could do to help where this is a brand new name and a brand new page.

@Jill Cooper This FB page is only a month old, I haven't used it much, and it's never run ads. That makes total sense about lookalike audiences!
