When you’re writing a scene that hits close to home — grief, heartbreak, or regret — do you lean into your own memories, or do you try to stay detached so it doesn’t overwhelm the story? Quick update, everyone! I just added The One-Page Rewrite Challenge. It’s short, fun, and honestly a great way to level up your writing without overthinking it. Even you pros out there all have a page that could use a good rewrite. Also, you’ll notice a few of the classrooms are now locked. That’s not to be mean, it’s because I really want to get more people talking, sharing, and building this community together. The more active energy we have here, the better these classes become (Someone in this community gave me that idea).
