Permission Slips for the Holidays
Consider this your official permission slip for the next 24 hours: - You don’t have to manage everyone’s emotions - You don’t have to over-explain your boundaries - You don’t have to make this magical for it to be meaningful A few gentle reminders as we move closer: For Yourself - Take breaks before you’re exhausted - Eat when you’re hungry, rest when you’re tired - Step away when your body asks you to For Others - Let people be who they are without fixing - Release the need to control how moments unfold - Kindness counts — even when it’s quiet For the Moment - Presence > performance - Connection > perfection - Peace > pressure Reflection: Where can I give myself a little more room to breathe today? If you want, share one permission slip you’re giving yourself. Sometimes naming it makes it easier to honor.

@Kristen Sheridan Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.
Locked In
What’s one tiny rebellion against holiday pressure you’re allowing this week? Late start. Fewer plans. Lower expectations. Saying no without a paragraph. Choose yourself, it's a power move 🌅

@Kristen Sheridan saying "No" without a paragraph has definitely been something I've grown into doing. No just means no. 👌🏾
The Little Spark That Cuts Through the Noise
This week, we’re paying attention to those tiny moments that cut through the negativity. You know, the ones that make life feel lighter for just a second. A glimmer isn’t always profound. Sometimes it’s something small that pulls you out of your head and reminds you you’re still capable of feeling good. How you know it’s a glimmer: • Your shoulders drop a little • Your mind unclenches • You stop spiraling for a moment • You catch yourself smiling without trying • Something shifts from “too much” to “okay, I can do this” • The heaviness lifts, even slightly • You feel more present than you did a second before From a scientific point of view, these moments nudge your nervous system out of survival mode. From a spiritual point of view, they reconnect you with your inner light, the part of you that knows joy doesn’t have to be earned. Today’s reflection: • What was one tiny moment today that made your energy soften or lighten, even for a second?• Where did you feel that shift in your body? Share it below, your glimmer might help someone recognize theirs.❤️

@Kristen Sheridan that's literally it. The Blessing of awareness in the smallest things. We tend to look for the grand occurrences to bring joy, laughter, happiness and even just the small; subtle smiles, but being pushed by spirit to breathe and enjoy even the smallest of moments has been my reoccurring little glimmers. 🙌🏾
Glimmers
“Joy doesn’t need a perfect day. It just needs your attention." Glimmers are those tiny moments your body whispers, ‘I’m okay right now.’ A warm breeze, a soft laugh, a color you love, the way the light hits the floor… little things that remind your nervous system it’s safe to soften. Today, pay attention to the small moments that feel good; even if they last only a second. That’s your body guiding you back to yourself.”

Being able to work alone today gave me a nice; fresh breath today. Being able to move to my own tune uninterrupted by chatter was a love shot. 👌🏾
Starting the Week With a Little Grace
Today I’m honoring a slower start. My sleep was off and my shoulder is tender, so I’m moving gently and letting my body lead the way. This week, we’re shifting into something a little lighter and finding joy in the middle of real life. Not when everything’s perfect, not when the to-do list is done… but right here, in the mess and the movement. What’s one tiny thing that brings you joy, even on a low-energy day?

@Kristen Sheridan definitely must be rest and recovery season. I was dealing with slight pain in my leg so I decided to get a nice walk in myself. It was well needed. The crisp air was definitely refreshing as well. 👌🏾
