WA Perth accountability group
Hey WA crew 🌿 I know it’s a little ironic… but I’d love to create a small accountability group from this bootcamp so we can stay connected, share ideas, and keep each other on track. It feels like a great way to find that balance between AI and genuine human connection 🤍 We could even set some time to work together — on Zoom or face-to-face — to keep the momentum going and support each other’s projects. If that resonates, pop a “🙋‍♀️” below and we’ll get something started!

@Bhupesh Kalha That’s wonderful — I’d love to stay connected! I’m just starting to build a small accountability group here in WA (ideally around 14–20 people) so we can meet online or even in person from time to time. Given the big time difference between Perth and the UK (about 7–8 hours), it might be worth you creating a UK-based group too — you’ve got such a huge network over there with 4K attendees! I can already imagine some friendly milestone challenges between our groups 😄 Let’s definitely stay in touch and share progress — we can learn so much from each other across continents 🌍✨

@Jonathan Nangkil Thank you so much for reaching out — it’s really lovely to hear from you. I’m still gathering people here in WA (it’s a bit quiet so far!), so your energy and perspective would be a wonderful addition. I know you’re in Queensland and recovering from your accident — that takes real courage— and if you’re comfortable working with the time difference, I think you’d bring something really special to the group. I'm aiming for around 14–20 people to build an accountability circle that’s kind, encouraging, and focused on growth — both with AI and the human side of connection 💫So yes, please stay in! I’d be delighted to have you onboard.
Tell Us Where You’re From Without Actually Telling Us 🌍
Tony says ‘Proximity is power.’ Let’s find out who’s in proximity... Tell us all where you’re from… without actually telling us where you’re from 🤣

@Christine Bruce That sounds like Okinawa, Japan? I am not allowing myslef to click on your profile. 😉

@Paddy Mac one of my favourite holidays Vietnam?
😂 Wait… Is AI the school teacher now?
Teachers used to hold the knowledge. Then we facilitated the knowledge. Now AI is the knowledge… or is it? Because technically, AI’s knowledge comes from us (right?). So what happens when we start learning from AI, then feeding that new “knowledge” back into AI? Are we just in one giant educational group project where everyone’s copying everyone’s homework? 🤔 If AI isn’t the knowledge, what is it — our overachieving study buddy? And what does that make us as teachers now? Curious (and slightly amused) to hear your thoughts!

Oh, I love this question — it’s such a good thought bubble 💭 Here in Australia, I work with teachers, helping them recognise the signs of mental health challenges in their students and build confidence in having those meaningful, human conversations that connect young people to the right help and support. What I’m noticing though, is that teachers are under enormous pressure — every minute of every day is accounted for, and that’s before the marking, the emails, and the data entry! So it’s understandable that burnout ompassion fatigue are biting hard. That’s why I actually think AI has a really healthy role to play — not as “the knowledge,” but as the time-giver-backer. If we can use AI to streamline planning, reduce admin, and take care of the repetitive stuff, teachers can reclaim the time and energy for the things that can’t be automated — the connection, empathy, humour and heart that make learning stick. So maybe AI isn’t the overachieving study buddy after all… maybe it’s the quiet helper that finally lets teachers do what they do best — teach humans. ❤️
Anchor your mission, vision and values!
Loved this one so much as it keeps you grounded and centred, allows you to realign when going off track and is your strategy to (re-)gain clarity as opportunities aren’t always showing up the way we’ve expected. Blessings to all you lovely people building and creating with meaning and intent!

Agreed - KISS Keep it simple stupid. But so often we lets it move without realising it.

@Susann PareisYes, I’m really looking forward to extending my use of AI. It’s also given me clarity that getting back to your beautiful country (NZ) is part of my goal — it’s where I grew up, and where half my heart still resides.
What did you do differently today?
Me? I called out a few unhelpful patterns 👀, gave my high energy a standing ovation (turns out it’s part of my brand 🪩), and got clear on what’s next — short term and long term. Your turn… what did you shift, notice, or celebrate today?
