Hi all, I’ve located a cracking property in the heart of a village that would work well as serviced accommodation. Before I move forward, would it be best to run it past the local authority first? The fact I’m asking makes me think I should? What’s the usual practice with something like this? What’s your thought? TIA

Hi everyone, we bought our 1st buy to let, just in the process of refurbishing it then we’ll get a mortgage on it to help get our 1st 6 bed ready made HMO, we have also bought 870 sq metres of land near the Greek border, we have plans to get a 4 bed Villa with pool plus 2x2 bed apartments built on it, our plan is to have the buy to let, 2 HMO’s and the Villa ready for letting for about 7 months of the year and we will live there 5 months within 4 years…that’s our goal.
