New Q&A - Get Your Questions Answered
Hey everyone, we are back again with another recorded Q&A. Please drop your questions in this thread and I will answer them and have them posted here by March 27th! Also for those who haven't seen yet, our new Youth Gamer is available for pre order. We are callling it the "Short Bat Snap Pro" as many HS/College/Pro guys will use it as a one hand and short bat trainer in their drill work. Meanwhile it will work great for Youth athletes to transfer the feel of the training bats into a game bat! You can read more about it here: https://launchdbats.com/products/short-bat-snap-pro

I want the inverse short bat snap pro, 30oz/25" severely end-weighted. Long bat weight for muscle-feel, short bat size for swinging in a basement :D

I'm thinking about cues to help with the tilt, the fused upper body, and staying back-legged - I came up with "drive the back shoulder down through the back foot" (also the the kinetic chain from shoulder to foot is slack-less). For me, this keeps my upper body rigid and transfers the force, and forces the leg to unwind, the knee to come down, and the body to come around. Does that make sense as a cue and produce correct results?

thanks for the answer @Aj Arroyo! My son and I have been working on HLP for a few years, though it took a long time for me understand the nuances of coaching it, and for him to build up the proprioception to understand what he was doing and feeling. For the rest of team, i've been mostly focusing on mental and physical readiness using a combination of the command drill and rich's ball anxiety drills. I'll work in some half-open stretch and fires and see how that goes.
🚨Q&A - NEW PRODUCTS
Hey everyone, the next Q&A is set to record Feb 27th. Feel free to drop your questions in this thread. Anything and everything is on the table except for a full swing analysis. In this setting it's just not possible to open that up for everyone individually haha. But if you have any questions about the products, training, drills, etc.. please feel free to put em below!! ALSO... NEW PRODUCTS🚨 We will be releasing a Short Bat Snap Pro Model that will used as a youth gamer in combo with a short bat for older athletes. It will be a 30/25 (30 inches 20oz) hard maple with the same hand split MLB grade wood we use now. This product will have the knub placed in the same location on the handle to fit both older players for short bat model usage and for youth athletes to have a bat for game-like transfer. (time frame TBA - order has been placed and testing completed) Thank you guys for all your feedback so far in this community and the reviews left on our site. It helps us so much with product innovation and expectations for us as a company. If you have any interest in leaving a product review for us (it means a lot and only takes a few seconds) you can do so here: launchdbats.com and select the product you originally purchased and leave a quick review of it. Talk soon!!

As an assistant coach, it's difficult to introduce HLP in its entirety to the team, esp when other coaches are outright against it or apprehensive about it - and it's also a technique that must be adopted completely for success and hard to teach piecemeal. But how could HLP precursors/concepts be introduced in a way that are not obviously HLP, would be beneficial to the players in the short term, but ultimately lead players to start chasing it on their own?

What app are you using on the tablet to scrub through video and draw on top of it?
Overweighted mini snap-pro?
We're doing well with the mini snap-pro in the basement, and the gamer and fungo models would be too long to swing - but I think it would be helpful to have something approximating the weight of a full size bat. Could you create another model of the mini snap-pro with weight on the far end to bring it up to 30oz?

@Daniel Ortiz my son's 15 and in HS. The issue is that we don't have the swing clearance in the basement to swing anything longer than the mini, but would like to simulate a standard weight bat.
🚨UPDATES & Questions!
It's been a little over a week since the launch of our Snap Pro Handle with Launchd bats! First off, I want to say thank you! Within the first week we sold out of 2 products and are low on stock already with others. The best part about it was that it was all organic. No paid media or affiliates went into the launch. From our perspective that shows us that you guys really like the concept! Now it's time to put our handle to the test. So heres what is coming! ✅ More content - dive deeper into the swing and improve fast (uploaded early next week) ✅ Pre recorded Q&A streams - get your questions answered by Aj on video (announcement soon) ✅ New products to assist with our half bats! (cough* foam balls😇) ✅ A new Youth Gamer model has been in the works (🤫) The feedback has been insane and we look fwd to making this the best free community for baseball players on the internet.

Where does the nubbin go? Sandwiched between the middle knuckles, the finger bones (phalanx), or at the base of the fingers? Based on the flat angle I think it's between the finger bones, but just wanted to confirm.
