Trying to get a 30” gamer bar for training. Having issues with the sites and etc.

I bought the Mini-Snap for my 9-year-old son, and he seems excited to try something new. Where did everyone else start with their kid? I watched a few of the drills with my son last night, and we’re excited for it to come in! I don't want to overwhelm him, we just want to get better and have some fun doing it.

I see everybody hold the bats differently… where should the launchd logo be facing when I’m in my stance?
