Just sharing this as it was quite a big update for me and I thought it might be useful for others who hadn’t spotted it yet. I’ve always ordered satin for all of my prints, but PrintShrimp have confirmed that all framed prints are now being sent matte. Apparently both gloss and satin can cause double glare once they’re behind the perspex, so after some customer feedback and reviewing samples from their print partners, they’ve decided matte is the better option for framed artwork. Unframed prints can still be satin — this change is specifically for framed prints. Worth knowing if, like me, you’ve been building your listings and product information around satin!

Etsy has randomly removed one of my listings. They are stating it’s because of a policy violation. Apparently it doesn’t meet their ‘Creative Standards’. This has never happened to me before. The appeal process requires me to upload photos, videos and documents of the creative process. But how do I do this if it’s AI generated? I have 1450 listings on this store and I don’t think I can get that listing back. Should I be worried for the rest of my listings?

Just wondering in the future if there will be development of a printshrimp app to fulfil orders if your away from a computer?

Hi everyone, wondering if anyone’s got any bright ideas. I’ve been upscaling my prints manually and changing the dpi on photoshop but I think essentially they aren’t coming out sharp enough on large sizes. I’ve tried downloading the upscayl app, which because of the version of Mac I have (Monterey 12), won’t work. The desktop version won’t let me subscribe or use a free trial despite trying multiple emails. Does anyone have any other ways they’ve been upscaling??
