New Patek Collection after 25 years...
I wanted to know your guys's opinions on the new Patek Philippe Cubitus, I personally don't like it as it's not my taste but despite the upfront negativity I think it'll be extremely well long term as we've seen before with pieces like the Royal Oak for example.

@Hugh Watson Yeah exactly, people are too reactionary nowadays
Is this worth it...?
I found this watch brand called Prestige Times Co, Essentially they handcraft modded watches with a Seiko movement and name, It's kind of hard to explain just look at their Instagram and website here: I just want to know if a watch like this would be worth it cause the quality seems very nice. https://prestigemod.com/ https://www.instagram.com/prestigetimesco?igsh=eWpyZHRqcjd0N3Fm

Yeah great point
Any watch recommendations?
I'm looking for my 2nd watch ever this Christmas, any suggestions? It will be an elegant/sporty piece with a bracelet not a strap I want it to kind of look like the Nautilus or day date (obviously that's a stretch but even something that even remotely has some features of them) and it should be no more than $500 AUD

@Carlos Lozano That's the thing... the Quartz starts at 600 AUD, with the other one being over 1 thousand
I just came across this watchmaker...
I discovered this watch brand called 'Louis Cartel' and I love their pieces mainly the ones I've put an image of. I got my first watch december 27th of last year and I really want a new watch. So I'm thinking this Christmas I may get a new watch. I know entry brands like Seiko and Tissot and others, but this watch brand has really caught my eye as the price is really good and from what I've read online the quality and finishing is really nice as well; I mean look at the photo of the package it looks incredible for this price. What do you guys think should I get this?

One watch that I wish I owned would be a vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava. Of course picking just one watch is so hard but I keep coming back to a vintage Calatrava because it perfectly symbolises who I am as a person; Simple yet elegant. I also hold a connection to dress watches, I love the classic look of them and how classy they can be. Also, it's Patek Philippe, I can easily say that it's my dream watchmaker to own a timepiece from not due to trends or anything but solely due to the rich heritage and craftsmanship a Patek holds. I also am a big history lover and the history behind this watch is insane! For starters, the name comes from the Calatrava Cross dating back to the 12th century in Castile, Spain, which was an emblem of the Order of the Calatrava. I am also a Christian so this resonates even more with me as the Order of The Calatrava was a military/religious order to defend the town of Calatrava against the Moors (Muslims). Put it simply, I would love to have this watch in my collection.
