What would you do if all your bills were paid?
I remember when I got my first monthly recurring software sale... It was only $197, but something about it felt so good and secure that I was hooked. I’ve had $15k days and even a $100k week in the past, but something about that $197 coming in from something I did a month earlier was so comforting to me. After that, I decided to ask for $500 per month from my next client. The very next sales call I did I got my first yes on the new price. $2,900 and $500 per month. That was over a year again and he’s been paying ever since and I have to reach out to him just to check in. He doesn’t need me very often so I barely hear from him and he’s happy. He just closed a $60k decking job from an automated text my system sent out a couple of months ago, so I don't know why he'd ever cancel. Now I charge a minimum of $1,500 p/m and I still barely talk to the client or check on their account. There is no need to. Everything just works in the background, so they don’t need me. The $1,500 comes in month after month and it requires close to ZERO effort on my part once it’s set up. I’m not sure why it feels so good to get that recurring income from my software, but it does. Maybe it’s because I’ve experienced my cash flow dry up so many times that I no longer feel secure on the non-recurring deals, no matter how lucrative they are. I ‘thought’ I was secure when I was making multiple thousands per day in profit selling leads and doing affiliate marketing, but as soon as my ad accounts got shut down, all my income shut down too. All that security was out the window in a moment without any warning. It wasn’t enjoyable at all to experience that, but I’m glad it happened because it led me to what I do now. If it wasn’t for my recurring software income I wouldn’t have had the time and freedom to create my course that shows others how to do it. That's been a dream of mine for years, but I never felt free enough to stop and do it. I was always stuck in my business trying to make sure the cash flow didn’t stop.
