Biggest Win So Far - 710€
Got my biggest payout for one project so far. This is basically a chatbot built in n8n and connected to Slack, which can control the project management system 'Asana' of my client. With this the client is able to chat with the bot inside a Slack channel and the bot can create/edit/delete tasks/assignes/dependencies etc. Basically almost everything he can do in Asana, he can do now via his Slack. This system is important for him, because my client manages different company leaders, who all have their own slack channels in his workspace and he wants to have a centralised way for him and his cliens to manage the Asana Boards. His clients can use this bot as well, only for their own Asana workspace. My client can use this bot for the whole Asana workspace. I got paid 650€ for this + 60€ for launching 3 Email campaigns for him.

@Omar Moussali Thank you man! I got this Client from a Freelancer platform. Im active on UpWork, Malt.de, freelancer.de . I'm gonna be honest, right now on UpWork it is not easy to land a job I feel like, but if you are consistent with proposals, it will succeed at some point. This client here go me 4 projects already. One after the other, so I'm happy to landed this one.
Current best practice tech stack for automations
Hello everyone, I watched the podcast from Nate with Devin from Custom AI Studio, and they said they didn't touched n8n for a while now. So I'm wondering, what is the current best practice tech stack for building high quality automations for clients. I started a while ago with Make, then it became n8n and now Claude Code seems to be most popular, maybe Codex as well. So how do you guys build automations for other businesses at this point? Do you set up Claude Code for them with some determistic scripts when possible or still do some n8n as infrastructure?

Small win - Website creation for local barbershop
This is a small win, but friend of mine had discussion with a local barber and he needed a website created for his barbershop, he is looking to set up a second location. This isn't sold but it vouches what local business's need is a simple website with a contact form. I created a simple website through netlify couldn't get vercel to work for what ever reason. Website is simple enough covers opening hours, services, also included parameters if someone booked outside of the opening hours an error would occur. Through this created a simple Whatsapp notification (This isn't fully automated as haven't created a whatsapp API but when it re-directs to whatsapp and has all the information pre-filled. This worked like a charm and can see that this could be useful for smaller business's that don't have a presence with a website. Question from me: 1. How much should I charge someone or sell a website creation for 2. What AI tools can I use to integrate whatsapp notification being sent automatically 3. Additional service was thinking of adding was setting up their google business profile and domain name hosting, and also automate any reviews they through google reviews 4. How can I get vercel to work, tried both on mac and windows, but couldn't find area to upload .html file Any input on this would be appreciated

Congrats! Happy to hear that
lead scrapers
What’s everyone using as their primary lead generation source these days? At the moment, I’m using Apify lead scraping because it’s fairly affordable and gives me a decent volume of leads. The downside is that the lead quality can be pretty hit-or-miss. I’m interested to hear what tools, platforms, or strategies others are using to generate higher-quality leads. I’m happy to invest more if it means getting better data and stronger results. Would love to hear your recommendations.

As far as I know the highest quality leads come from Linked In Sales Nav (~ $100 / month) these days. You can scrape them with Vayne.io ( ~ $30 ). Leads from Sales Nav seem to be 'more current' for a lack of a better term.
Claude Code vs Codex
Would love to get a gauge as to why people in the community have chosen either Claude code or codex and why? Or are you using both?

@Michael Friedman I just posted a kind of similar thread of this topic. It refers to what the best practice tech stack for setting up automations for clients right now is. I do not have experience with Codex, so I'm missing the point of this thread. I'm still happy to hear, what the best practice right now is for setting up automations for clients. Do you guys still use n8n as infrastructure or are you building custom scripts now?
