I finally decided on an idea and its for the On/Off-Ramp track. I have already started development and by next week, I should have a substantial MVP for the community to test with. Nimiq Pay AI Assistant: Simple On/Off-Ramp application 🚀 More details coming soon.....

Across the first two cycles of the Nimiq Mini Apps Competition, we've seen an incredible 204 submissions, with 7 official winners selected! Choosing the winners was no easy task. Many apps impressed us, some came incredibly close to winning, and others simply became personal favorites of the Council. We believe great efforts deserve recognition, even when they don't make it to the podium. That's why the Nimiq Community Council has decided to award $100 USD in $NIM to each of these 9 projects across the 2 last cycles! Special mentions from Cycles 1 and 2: ⭐ Nimiq Bazar by @Angelo ⭐ Nimble by @Arkadiusz Galler ⭐ Savanna Run by @Winnifred Ndukwe ⭐ NimBooks by @Jeremy Lee ⭐ NimHunt (geofaucet app) by @J A ⭐ Nimiq Names by @Enrique Ferrater ⭐ NimMultiSend by @Anita Chan ⭐ Pact by @Adeleke Khaleed These rewards are our way of showing appreciation for the creativity, effort, and passion these builders have brought to the Nimiq ecosystem. Congratulations to all the selected projects, and a huge thank you to everyone who participated! Keep building, keep experimenting, and keep making the Nimiq ecosystem better. Cycle 2 is officially wrapped, and we’re excited to announce the builders taking home a share of the $17,000 USDC prize pool. The Community Council decided to split 2nd place between two builders this cycle: 🥇 Knock by @Kaichao Sun: $7,000 An encrypted chat built on Nimiq where users can set a connection cost for strangers while keeping conversations private. Knock also supports sending and receiving NIM directly in chats, tipping other community members, and joining public group conversations. 🥈 Blacktop by @Jesse Lukose: $4,000 A privacy-first ride companion built for real riders and real rides, whether you’re riding solo or with a crew. Blacktop combines ride tracking with Pay Up, its built-in wallet, plus Blacktank, a shared crew fuel pot that only pays out with a unanimous vote, and instant QR tips in NIM or USDT. 🥈 NIMIQ.kids by @Andjroo Me: $4,000 A family Mini App that turns chores into real NIM. Parents set rewards, kids complete jobs, and approved rewards are sent directly to an account the child owns. Kids can then spend it on screen time and treats, keeping the whole flow within the family. 🥉 PROOF by @Christopher Okunade: $2,000 A learning platform that combines AI-powered skill paths, real-world challenges, and verified proofs to help users demonstrate what they can actually do. The goal is to turn learning into something you can prove, showcase, and use to unlock new opportunities. Big thanks to the Community Council for reviewing every submission and selecting this cycle’s winners. And of course, thank you to everyone who built and shipped a Mini App this cycle.
