Weekly Q&A Moved to Saturday mornings
Happy Friday everyone! 🎉 Due to popular request, our weekly group Q&A meetings have been moved to Saturday mornings at 10 AM CST. This change is to make sure more of you can attend and get the support you need. Looking forward to seeing you there! https://us05web.zoom.us/j/81446674762?pwd=vO1o9cC9Ol7LBgobajpINiDopH4h6A.1

Saturday QA was super. Very helpful in reviewing miscellaneous questions on PT, progress, various exercises, and my favorite, when and how to ice. A great time to build confidence if you are struggling with recovery. Many thanks, Dr. Dan.
Module 3
Awesome summary. A must-see multiple times for sure. I will continue to review the modules for sure. My recovery has been impacted by a badly sprained ankle from surgery. I will continue to rehab well past 3 months., At seven weeks now. Dr Dan, thank you very much. Well done.

A must see - More than once. Good information
Module 2 - I have watched this numerous times. So many points in the video. Range of motion, pain, transition to cane, ice. Each time I review the module, i see another good point. One thing I will say is everyone's progress will be different. This time period as Dr Dan mentions is the basis for future progress down the road. I wish the Physiapp was less ridgid as sometimes I do other exercises but there is no way to report. Also if you skip an exercise, there should be a way to note it. For myself, a sprain ankle occurred during surgery has caused challenges. As Dr Dan mentions know the difference between pain and discomfort. Thanks Dr Dan for the continual reinforcement.

A great tool as I recover.
Stiffness, swelling, pain. Actively using the module as I recover allows me to be a more informed patient. When I watch the presentation in TKR, I think Dr Dan is right next to me seeing the challenges that one faces in 0-3 weeks post-surgery. I just wrap up week 3. Many successes and continued work. Many thanks for the content and support. Being my 3rd replacement, I see things differently. I am not one for doing the exercises 2-3 daily, but throughout the day in smaller mini sessions. As you have or will see, stiffness is a challenge, so constant movement is better for me. As Dr. Dan points out everyone is different, so some areas are not one size fits all. Ice, and pain management during this time period is crucial. I cannot emphasize this enough. You will have okay and tough days especially if you have other medical challenges. Again, doing something is better than nothing. Some exercises are easier and other are hard. I prefer the easier ones but my constant review of the presentation and the recording of data in PhysiApp is a great reminder of this is not a once a done thing but a process with good and challenging days. Thanks Dr Dan. I am ready for module 2 but I really appreciate module 1.
