I've been a rock and roll lover going back to 12 years old(I'm 64). It was all Elton John back then...LOL! But I remember 3 huge albums that hit when I was about 14 and 15. Boston, AC-DC Highway to Hell and Van Halen. My rock and roll mind was blow. That got me into the Bon Scott AC-DC, Led Zeppelin, Montrose, UFO, Ted, etc. I love all Classic rock. Tom Petty, The Stones, Guns and Roses, etc. but what finally got me to get a guitar at 60 was Social Distortion, I love that band.

I just hit 3 years and I'm basically only a chord Strummer. This year is about notes and or solos, etc. although I'm perfectly fine being a Malcom Young rhythm player. But this year is probably about learning the neck better, penatonic scales, solos, etc. 3 years in and I've avoided the F Barre chord up until now but I'm spending hours on that this week.
