AIS 7-Day Challenge Completed🎉
Really proud to share I have completed the 7-Day AIS Challenge. Can't recommend this enough to the rest of the community that may be sitting on this. I learnt heaps and have even implemented many of the components of the challenge in my day-to-day. For my capstone, I created a scheduled task with a custom skill that generates an update status for a business 'Digital-twin' project I am working on, providing myself and the team a weekly status update of where the project is at, next steps, bottlenecks, actions and timelines on a weekly basis, which I launched this week to their amazement. It has allowed me to go into our weekly WIP's with all their questions already answered making the time far more valuable. 😄

7 Day Challenge - Day 6
Today I worked through my Scheduled Automation. I essentially set up a scheduled automation that reviews my calendar and any unread emails/ any i havent responded to, my events calendar for the day, context .md files in relation to client and project specific tasks and creates actions and key information to review. I took this one step further by giving Claude access to Granola to pull relevant context, actions and information from all of my client meetings to further build the knowledge base and context providing me a solid breakdown of what I should focus on. Apologies for the heavily redacted image. Lots of private stuff for my eyes only! I can see this being super useful moving forward, particularly as it further builds context and knowledge.

7 Day Challenge - Day 6
Rate limit loop I cannot get out of :(
Hey guys! I'm completely stuck and I don't know where to go :( I have an Anthropic API key *and* I have a max account. The max account gives me the rate limit error and tells me to come back. So I switched to the API key. And I keep getting this issue: API Error: Request rejected (429) · This request would exceed your organization's rate limit of 30,000 input tokens per minute (org: (unique identifier here), model: claude-opus-4-7). For details, refer to: https://docs.claude.com/en/api/rate-limits. You can see the response headers for current usage. Please reduce the prompt length or the maximum tokens requested, or try again later. You may also contact sales at https://claude.com/contact-sales to discuss your options for a rate limit increase. ...is this actually a limitation that resets every minute? Or does it reset every hour? Is there an article or video from Nate on navigating these waters? :D It seems like Claude just doesn't want me to use it, but it also seems that many people run into these issues and have to learn how to work with it intelligently.

Hey @Robert Genito one thing to keep in mind is it’s not just your input, it’s also the system message, user message, context from and files, mcp connections ect so unfortunately it adds up quickly. While not specific to your use case this video by Nate https://youtu.be/_qZvORxGqI0?si=KfSHJ_XuV-TTgQkb Focuses on extending session usage - through reducing token consumption so there may be something helpful in there. Another thing to keep in mind (don’t quote me) is there are tiers to the rate limits which increase over time as you use Claude. Hopefully this helps
7 Day Challenge - Day 5 Complete
For the Day 5 challenge, I decided to go ahead with a passion project idea I had been sitting on for a while and have created Pub Pulse — a crowdsourced price index for chicken parmas and pots/schooners across Melbourne pubs, inspired by Ireland's Guinness price tracker. It pulls together AI-scraped pub data, user submissions and data pulled using an AI voice agent to call the pubs to build a living leaderboard of where the value's real and where you're getting done. I decided to use Firebase rather than Vercel due to familiarity of the platform and can be accessed here — https://schoonerscan--schooner-scan.us-east4.hosted.app/parma-night While I have only done an initial seed of pubs in 2 suburbs in Melbourne, this has given me the motivation to finish putting together the voice agent and it will be starting to make calls over the next day or two to update initial prices. I found the use of 21st.dev to be particularly helpful in visually improving certain areas like the map and the carousel. While it may not be the most polished/professional looking site, that was actually intentional to give it a more subtle, less serious feel. Bit of a random one but a fun one for any fellow parma lovers and Melburnians. Next time you're out for dinner, see if your local is on here yet and feel free to contribute!
