Passed the DP-700: Fabric Data Engineer Associate Exam!
Just wanted to say a big thank you to @Will Needham for the awesome DP-700 video series! 🙏 I recently passed the exam, and your content played a huge role in helping me understand the concepts clearly. Really appreciate the effort you put into making complex topics so approachable. Keep up the great work!
Need Help Preparing for DP-700 – Exam Soon!
Hey everyone! I'm a final-year student currently preparing for the DP-700 certification. I've been following @Will Needham's YouTube playlist ,which has been super helpful 🙌, and I've taken a few practice assessments. I also have a voucher and need to schedule the exam before the 21st, but honestly… I'm not feeling confident yet. I don’t have hands-on access to Azure Fabric or a full environment, so I’m mainly relying on theory and videos. If anyone has --Good resources or notes to brush up before the exam, --Tips on what to focus on for the final few days, --Or ideas on how to understand key concepts without full access to a live environment… …I’d really appreciate the help! 💙 Thanks in advance
Viewer vs Contributor: Workspace Roles for Read-Only Access
I came across a question about Fabric workspace roles for Lakehouse data access. Based on Microsoft docs, Viewer should grant access through Lakehouse Explorer. However, its suggest Contributor might be valid . Let's discuss the best approach!
Viewer vs Contributor: Workspace Roles for Read-Only Access
Parquet Files: Designed for Stability, Not Edits
Parquet files, a popular data storage format, are designed for fast reading and analysis. But unlike some file types, they aren't easily modified. This immutability makes them ideal for storing large datasets in MS Fabric (Azure Data Factory) for efficient querying without worrying about accidental changes. Think of Parquet files like libraries - optimized for borrowing information but not rewriting it. This structure allows MS Fabric to quickly retrieve data for your analytics tasks.
