Yo! Typing as I'm listening: 1. Love this song, great choice! 2. Mix sounds awesome, love the chords that are played in intro. Bass sounds nice. 3. Feel like the drum section comes in a little bit abruptly? A bit more transition FX leading up to it might be good. 4. Buildup sounds great 5. I think the drop is lacking a little punch, especially with the kick. I think a different kick sound would make the drop really hit. The low end on the drop might be a tad too overpowering, maybe lower the volume or compress a bit more? Seems like the kick and sub are fighting for attention. 6. Second verse sounds sick 7. Like the fake out! There's something about the first kick on the second drop that prevents it from punching.... not sure what it is. Overall really cool man! Some mixing and sound choices will make this a BANGER

Yo! Listening as I type: 1. Beginning has a nice vibe 2. Drums sound awesome, mix is sounding clean asf. 3. Kind of hard to distinguish between drop and verse, I think there should be some sort of buildup like Marc said. I would try to add more energy during the drops to really add that contrast. 4. Like plucks are super dope, add a really cool vibe and I like the "randomness" of the notes as well. Super cool vibe, really like it. Hope this helps man!

I think the fidelity of the acapella is causing it to be a little messy/muddy, especially during the drop when you introduce some more mids/highs, could EQ the vocal more or find a better quality vocal? 4. I think it could be super sweet to add a lead over the guitar melody that is played, it sounds like you might have one right now but maybe make it more pronounceed. 5. Totally agreed with the @Brendan Carroll comment about the lead melody. Could be really nice to have a pluck or bell sound during the drops that are a bit more atmospheric that plays the lead melody. Yo! Typing as I'm listening: 1. The vocals are a bit drowned out by all the elements right from the start. 2. Agreed with Alex on the chord progression, think some changes could be made there. 3. Really like the drop sounds! With a better chord progression think it could sound very nice. One thing I'd recommend is focusing on building your song around the drop. Right now, there is a bit of a contrast between the sounds during the verses and drops, I think? 4. Bass feels good during the verses! 5. Think there could be some mixing changes to let all of the elements breathe a bit, some eq and compression could go a long way! 6. Second drop is sweet! Love the fake out. 7. @Brendan Carroll totally get what you're saying about the open hat. Love BVRNOUT first off, second off, appreciate you pointing me to a reference track which will make the process easier. I got u in terms of the melody, maybe you're finding it to be a little repetitive, I'll think about ways I can add more variation. Thanks dude!
