Did You Just Build AI Slop? 🤔
Hey Academy, Every beginner builder using AI tools needs to hear this — yes, AI will generate messy, bloated, or unnecessary code sometimes. It happens. Even with the best prompts. That doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. This came up when an AI Architects member shared her project and asked honestly: "Did I just build a bunch of AI slop?" This happened to me just last weekend, Claude Code kept adding unnecessary stuff, not cleaning up after itself, no matter how many times I told it to go back and tidy things up. The good news? There's a prompt for that. Inside the AI Architects Classroom, there's a code review prompt you can run on any stack that will: - Flag urgent vs. non-urgent issues so you know what actually needs attention now - Pull from official docs and community best practices for genuinely useful feedback - Explain everything in plain English, no technical jargon
