sacrifices and intentionally giving up..
what's something you sacrificed when you started your fat loss journey? and what did you intentionally gave up after achieve you desired results? so when i started my fat loss journey i sacrificed eating processed food with dozens of ingredients and chemicals..and i started drinking 2 glasses of warm water first thing after waking up.. warm water have great benefits..i personally drank it because i wanted good gut health but after achieving some good results and improving my gut health i intentionally gave up drinking warm water now i drink 500ml of normal water first thing in the morning

Transformation story!
The first picture is me back in 2020.. it was my 19th birthday and I used to weigh about 80 kg.. as you can see from the photo that my face look really bulky and bloated.. I wasn’t particularly happy with this fat and the bloated face haha.. so I started going to the gym and exercise and started improving my diet.. and so that led me to lose weight not small weight I lost almost 20 kg Second picture is me holding a cricket bat weigh in at 60 kg.. this was the skinniest period of my life.. everybody started saying that what happened to you? Are you sick or something? Why did you lose so much weight?.. And so after that about January 2026.. I started lean bulking by the way I was skinny in 2025.. only gained about 5 kg so in the entire 2025 I was some very 63 kg and 64 kg.. The last picture is me right now lean bulking.. I’m not particularly a big dawg.. but the difference is visible.. I still weigh about 66 kg but I’ve gotten bigger!

The way of the superior man!
Has anyone read this book? This book is so good that I keep coming back to it whenever I face some problems in life By the way, this book focuses more than the masculine inside of the things

Intermittent Fasting can make you LAZY
Did she just say that?! Oh YES she did! If you’ve been in this group for any length of time, you know that I’m a huge proponent of intermittent fasting. It’s helped me to release over 70 pounds and to feel healthier than I have in many years. And I love supporting interested folks in finding their own rhythm with intermittent fasting. Yet, I do have to be brutally honest with you all, and with myself….intermittent fasting can absolutely make you lazy. If done mindfully, it can work so well for releasing weight that we feel less motivated to do things like focused exercise and strength training sessions. But those things are important too! In my case, I didn’t feel that I needed much exercise because I move around our ranch every day. But, the moving I do daily is task-oriented. There’s something different about just moving for the sake of moving, whether it be yoga, dancing, biking, lifting weights, or something else. Exercise is so helpful for our mental health and wellbeing. It balances the stress hormone cortisol, boosts our immune system, and can bring so much joy to our lives. The good news is…we can do both exercise and intermittent fasting! I had to ease into exercise with the 10 Day, 10 Minute Challenge since thinking about adding 5 one hour sessions of exercise per week just felt overwhelming. Now, I move daily and it feels great! The 10 Day Challenge can be a really great way to ease into new habits you want to bring into your life without overwhelming yourself. What’s your favorite way to exercise, fellow Thriver?

@Vasi Smith Thanks for this.. I hit the gym even when i’m fasting..i just drink whey protein when fasting and eat one time
What did exercising teach you?
Exercise and movement plays a big part in weight loss..my goal was to lose weight and build muscle and i had excess to private gym in my apartment so i joined!! After all these years gym and exercise in general has taught me that everything comes after, your well being comes first..gym has also taught me how to be humble around people and respect them and alongside that it has also taught me how to embrace the pain and stick it up… And of course its given that you learn a lot about yourself and your body So what has exercising and moving yourself has taught you?
