Back to Basics: Customer Service ❤️
We talk a lot about growth in this community; getting more followers, more clients, more sales. And all of that matters. But here's something I want you to hold onto. People may forget what you posted. They may forget your price. But they will never forget how you made them feel when they reached out to you. Customer service is not just about being nice. It's about being responsive, being reliable, and making every single person who interacts with your business feel like they matter. Because to them, reaching out to you was a decision. Reply promptly. Follow up when you say you will. Fix problems without making your customer feel like a burden. Say thank you and mean it. In a world where most businesses make people feel like an inconvenience, being the business that actually shows up for people is a massive competitive advantage. And here's the thing, happy customers don't just come back. They bring people with them. Think about a time you had exceptional customer service from a business, what did they do that made it memorable?

I had a pleasant interaction with Enmax cs when I was setting up our account. The guy walked me through all the services and also mentioned a one time fee I would see on my bill and what it meant. He explained the different rates, the time of the year the rates usually increase and where I can check gas rates daily. The walk through and set up was so seamless that I felt heard. I had to ask for his name incase I get a survey. Then my first bill came and I needed some clarity and this time around it was a lady. Same experience , such that even if I get a better rate with another company, I would not want to go. I even made a post about this experience. As someone who has worked in customer support and customer experience /success , at different levels, I give a lot of grace to customer support professionals but also, I can smell bad service from afar. I can tell if you genuinely care or just want to wish me away ASAP and attend to the next person. Same thing with individual businesses. I know when they are interested in customer success or just want my money . Even if it’s a complaint, I Just want to feel heard, not necessarily compensated. Some customers can be extremely difficult, however, the key is to let them feel heard, regardless.
📚Resource of the Week: Etsy 🛍️
If you have a product-based business or you’re thinking about one, this is worth looking into. Etsy is a marketplace where people are already searching for products like yours; handmade, unique, or personalised. That means you’re not starting from zero, you’re showing up where buyers already are. It works well for things like jewellery, candles, home décor, digital products, printables, and more. Getting started is simple; set up your shop, upload your products, and you’re live. Just focus on good photos and clear descriptions. Your tasks for the week; - Find one product similar to yours on Etsy. - Look at how it’s presented; photos, pricing, description. - Drop what you found in the comments 🔥

@Comfort Oluwasesan you can search for juices on Etsy. That way, you would know if there are other vendors that offer it. I just checked for jollof rice since I cook and I was suprised to see a lot of listings
🔥 One of our Club members just did $5K+ in a month 🔥
Hey ladies ❤️ I wanted to share this because it genuinely made me so happy!!!!! We all know that the goal of the Money Club is to make at least $5K/month from a side hustle! And one of our moms, Winnie (Lumora Co), just did exactly that 👏🏽 She hit $5,698 in one month 🎊 (See Picture attached) What makes this one special for me is that I remember when we first met last year… She told me about her craft business, but she was busy with work and felt stuck. When she showed me her work, I knew immediately she was sitting on something special. Her work is excellent. She ended up doing all our stationery for the last Busy Mamas Games event, and since then she’s just been building consistently. And now this. Please note that this is not one big breakthrough, it’s just consistency in showing up and orders started adding up. Also, Winnie is honestly one of the reasons I started the Money Club. Because she would always reach out with questions… pricing, marketing, handling clients… and I realized a lot of women are trying to figure this out alone. Let this be a reminder that what you’re building can work. Just keep showing up, ask questions, talk about your ideas, let's get you to be the next $5k Milestone Celebrant!!!! I’m so proud of you @Winifred Uwakwe ❤️

Congratulations Winnie 💪
A win😊
I was meant to post this last week , it was an encouragement for me and I hope it will be for you too. I decide to put into practice some of the things we have learnt here for my Banana bread business (The baking Room). I made my first set of sales, I took advantage of my community and the Eid celebrations and I got over 20 orders of banana bread from people who wanted to eat and also gift people. This made me believe that this is actually possible, I am encouraged to put in more efforts and gradually achieve the goal I set for this business. Thank you so much for this community 😁. Kindly follow on IG and order from us if you are in the GTA 🍌https://www.instagram.com/the_baking_room12?igsh=MW5nZWx3NXJ4ZG05bQ%3D%3D&utm_source=qr
