Aligned AI Summit - Sept. 8-11
New summit alert! I'm speaking at Ruth Poundwhite's Aligned AI Summit on September 10th. My session is called 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝘆 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘆, and I'm walking through what I actually hand off to AI, what I still do myself, and where that line is for me. Spoiler: it's not everything, and it's not nothing. 😜 There are 30+ other speakers over the four days (Sept 8-11), all talking about using AI in a way that actually fits how you work, without losing your personality and humanity in the process. Presentations are short and sweet (15-20 min), pre-recorded so you can watch on your own time, and free for 48 hours each. Check it out here! Anybody else in this group speaking in the summit? I've seen a lot of familiar names and faces so far!

@Denielle Farrow What specifically are you looking for the bots to do? Claude Cowork can carry out a lot of multi-step tasks without supervision (included in the Pro subscription, $20/month, I beleive) Grok's bots are a bit different, but it depends on what you want to do with them!

@Denielle Farrow lol fair enough! There are definitely some low-hanging fruit workflows and skills that can be done with Claude and ChatGPT that can take a few things off of your plate. I’ll suggest that as a topic for the next premium workshop and see if learning something like that would be of interest!

- My freshly cleaned house includes fresh sheets 😜 - Dinner! I don't like coffee - Massage, pedicure, AND a facial - Umm... neither. But I'll take an hour to paint or read uninterrupted. - I guess I'd like to eat without having to get up to let the dog in or get someone water or seconds before I've had my firsts - Wandering around bookstore - Both/either. As long as I don't have to get it or cook it or clean it! - I love fresh flowers
It's FriYAY! This or That: Fall Edition 🍂
Happy Friday, all! Let's have some fun and get to know each other a bit more (and maybe learn something new about ourselves in the process...🤔) 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🍁🎃 - Pumpkin spice or apple cider - Pumpkin patch or haunted house - Apple picking or fall festival - Gilmore Girls marathon or spooky movie marathon - Bonfire or curled up by the fireplace - Apple pie or pumpkin pie

@Michael Deibert Oooh no crust pumpkin pie, interesting... I actually was just talking to my friend in NZ (who grew up here in Ohio, moved to NZ with her husband) and she was talking about how she missed a lot of the fall traditions from here, but was starting her own new traditions there!
How do you plan your weeks?

@Sile Obroin @Linda Biron There are lots of ways to use AI to help, depending on how you prefer to work with an assistant! For me, I have a "daily briefing" routine set up with Claude where I just ask it for my briefing every morning and it will check my calendar, Trello board (where I manage my projects), inbox (it even goes in and archives stuff I don't need), etc. and give me a summary of what I'm looking at for the day. Lately, I've been in a busy season both with business and personal life stuff, so I'll have daily chats first thing with ChatGPT or Claude where I'm brain dumping everything I feel like I need to do and it will help me sort by priority (based on what it already knows my goals are). I actually have a talk I gave in a summit about my daily briefing routine that I'm going to be adding to the classroom here - as soon as I upload it, I'll let you know 😊
The AI builder stack I’d actually keep around
Every single week, a new business strategy, marketing tactic, or time-saving automation drops into our feeds promising to change everything. The hard part isn't discovering them. It’s figuring out which ones actually earn a permanent spot in your daily routine instead of just collecting dust in your bookmarks—especially when you're building around a busy life, family, or a full-time job. This is the lean stack I rely on to actually get things done without the hustle-bro burnout: n8n / Make: For wiring up backend client-getting automations and moving data seamlessly so systems run in the background while handling real life. Apify: My go-to tool for heavy data extraction, web scraping, and gathering the raw market intelligence needed to find clients fast in the hours available. GoLogin: Essential for managing isolated browser profiles securely, keeping multi-account workflows clean, and avoiding friction during outreach. XAMPP & Local SQL: Where custom web applications and business database environments are configured, tested, and fine-tuned on your own schedule. Tailwind CSS: Keeps frontend updates fast, clean, and responsive without getting bogged down in messy custom stylesheets. Floment: Useful for organizing community engagement, sharing workflows, and keeping discussions structured in one place. The bigger lesson here is that stacking tools just because they are trending is a fast track to exhaustion. I’d rather find a real operational bottleneck → map out a clean system → test the workflow → deploy it → and make sure it actually gives you your time back. That’s a much better way to build a client-getting, sale-making business than chasing every shiny object on the internet. Hey everyone! Seeing how Olivia and this community focus entirely on building real businesses around actual life (instead of pushing unlimited-time hustle culture) is such a breath of fresh air. Building smart systems means your tech works around your schedule, not the other way around.

Love this! As a self-proclaimed shiny tech chaser, I've definitely learned how important it is to find tools that work for YOU and your specific needs and workflows. There are a lot of options (and more being added daily!)
