November training- Behavior and regulation
Behavior In early childhood is understanding why kids do what they do, determining the why, honoring the child where they are at developmentally, and teaching new behaviors. Next training will be on behavior and regulation. What are your current questions that I can answer in this training! Tailoring it to YOU! ❤️

@Katie Lents @Whitney Fitzgearlds thank you so much!!!
Name your WIN big or small!
When we begin to see the little things, the little wins and success and focus our mind on those, we begin to see those more often! What is your win this week!

We have been using the zones of regulation, and recently he (Stanley) was able to tell me what zone he was (blue, sad) in and what we could to help him get to the green zone (happy)
1:1 Behavior session
I’m looking for a couple volunteers and I thought I’d open it up here first. If you’re currently navigating a behavior challenge with your child and you want to work with me to go through my behavior roadmap, please comment below and we will set up some 1:1 time to connect.

We use pull ups, we use the bathroom every morning and when we get home from school. Working on potting training in school also, but sometimes doesn’t make it to the restroom ontime. He is typically better about going poop than going pee but sometimes there are accidents. Mostly we are struggling with him telling me he needs to use the bathroom. He does sometimes but not consistently, when he does go in his pull up he immediately needs to change it and will sometimes do it himself. I guess I just don’t know how to facilitate more communication, I thought about maybe making some visual aides that are specific to using the potty.
