Do you use a planning app?
If so, what app do you use? What features do you love about it? Anything you wish it could do, but doesn't? Anything you hate about it? Doing a little research for a project I'm working on... very much appreciate your insights!!!

@Bill Widmer Right now I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about it. It’s great.
ADHD Things
Anyone else feel like some days they need someone to just follow them around body doubling all day to get things done? No? Just me? 🤔

Oh yes – 100%. That’s exactly why I love Focusmate. I never thought it would work for me and actually resisted it for a long time. But honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my effectiveness in business. I can highly recommend at least giving it a try. And for anyone who doesn’t know: the first three sessions are free.

@Rex Loyer Cave Day sounds interesting. I will test it
What are you working on this week?
I love planning my week on Sundays. I'll be: - Continuing to set up and utilize Skoot CRM to help us grow & connect with members - Interviewing @Amber Kay on Tuesday and re-launching our YouTube channel - Helping our clients absolutely crush it What are your plans for the week?

I only plan on Mondays. I tried doing it on Sundays, but somehow that just doesn’t put me in a good mood. So what am I doing this week, I will promote my community for an 8 week project community focused on plant based weight loss as much as possible, on LinkedIn, inside my community, by reaching out to former clients and so on. Just as a quick heads up, it will be in German, in case anyone here is interested. 😁 That is my main plan for this week, plus of course the usual things. Have a great week and good luck to everyone. And I definitely commit to putting a clear time limit on every single thing I do, whether it’s personal or business related, and being intentional about how long it should take.
Does your genius keep you awake?
I got such a huge energy return on the investment with this group. Of community. Last night no sleep. Finally slept for 90 minutes. Now I'm at my desk hoping to test out this time prediction model because my focus this way was great on Monday and from there a slow slide into bigger backlog while keeping up with new stuff. Mind you, my mood is still good.... im not even all that tired yet. Hoping i can accurately predict a much more efficient completion rate today. It was hard to stop thinking about work. I told myself all the rational reasons to allow brain and body rest. But it still wouldnt. So I watched 3 anthropology videos about human evolution For enhancing my calm. And went to bed. All is well. The moment I go to bed my brain is fully awake and ready to map more quantum fields. I didnt shame or blame or try to make it mean anything. I observed where the thoughts wanted to go. but eventually got up at 3am because its the only way I will get tired enough yo get any kind of sleep. If I stay up that has a high cost on my next day. I am still calm and tired and refusing to accept work stress as my life stress. But this brain sometimes makes it hard to maintain consistency in my day job. It didn't have to be a low demand day but if it's not ... I stress my brain nerves too far... Or do I? News at 11

Time Pressure as an ADHD Tool?
Hey everyone, do you know this too, that it can be incredibly helpful to decide very clearly in advance how many minutes you want to spend on a task, set a timer, and then just do it, whether it is something work related or something very everyday like showering or cooking. I remember that I used to struggle a lot with this because the thought immediately came up that time pressure creates too much pressure and that pressure is never good. But I have noticed for myself, maybe also because of my ADHD brain, that this helps me a lot and interestingly it almost always works out to the second when I decide on the time beforehand. And the feeling afterwards honestly feels like a small dopamine hit for me. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿?

@Tori Cadry Love how you described this. It sounds like a real shift. Big goals create mental overload. Small, clear goals create movement. “10 instead of 40” was the game changer.

@Tori Cadry I’m really glad it helped.✌️❤️ Possibility thinking within clear limits can be surprisingly freeing.
