🚧 Most people don’t start ready
There’s this quiet belief a lot of people carry when they first start looking at commercial real estate. That everyone else somehow started with:Perfect confidence.Perfect knowledge.Perfect timing. Like they woke up one day already knowing how to analyze deals, talk to brokers, and structure offers. That’s not how this works. Most people who eventually win in this business started in the exact same place many of you are in right now. Confused. Curious. A little intimidated. Wondering if they’re missing something everyone else understands. Here’s the part nobody tells you though: Clarity doesn’t come before action. It comes because of it. The first call feels awkward. The first deal you analyze makes your head spin. The first broker conversation might leave you thinking, “What just happened?” But every one of those moments builds something important. Momentum. And momentum changes everything. Every operator you look up to in this space has a trail of uncomfortable first steps behind them. The difference wasn’t that they felt ready.
