The 'hole' may not be what they need. So it's a bit of catch-22 situation. They know what they need, but you don't. You offer them a hole which doesn't match what they need, so they just either ignore the hole or fall into the hole, instead of getting what they actually need. Not a win-win scenario here. The concept sound intriguing, but it is a catch-22 scenario. Without talking to them and finding out what that need is - there isn't a hole big enough to fill that need. Now if you know what they need, then you don't need any holes, you just provide a solution, if you have one, otherwise - all you have is a hole :)
