Nina Here!
Hi My name is Nina, from the Philippines. I have been wanting to start my YT channel for yeeeeaaars! And I am happy to find a community like this. I am a remote executive assistant, and I do not know if it is best to start on niche around that or if I make something else? I love teaching but I know I will dread videos like a tutorial on tools and stuff. But I would talk much on how to handle the complexities of motherhood and working from home and stuff. That way I can then create a community like this for Mamas who are starting or wanting to start working from home. I hope I can pull this through.

@Dr. Saundra Stancil I have a lot and I do not know what to choose. I am passionate about helping people thrive in where they are planted. I like it when people get clarity or structure. Maybe because it is related to my role as an executive assistant. I'd like to serve.... (but get paid) haha

@Lillie Handy Dominguez Thanks. I would love to join the 30 day challenge, where do I find that?
Still confuse
I am still confused about what I should be filming about. I think I just have to start something until I find myself?

Niche Down
Been contemplating on what niche I should tackle as I am interested with many things. Watched @Alexa Saarenoja video on niching down and I think I have an answer to my question on "What Niche I should talk about, applying themes." But I am still in the battle between 2: 1. Freelancing, Work from home life of a Mum with Home schooling Kids, and a toddler. ** I can then get revenue on digital products, courses, and long term merch or books. BUT my client reach are from my country only... And I know this is not a topic I could talk about for a long time it may evolve into something else real soon. 2. Customer handling, get insights on customer experiences and tackling the benefit of customer handling. - I may grow this very slow. But this is a tooic I can talk about for hours. ** Other revenue: work with companies and analize their customer handling and how they can improve it. From digital customer experience to face to face. I am a trained customer Champion, and Customer Service and the dynamics facinates me a lot. This may require me to travel though. BUT this is something that I can expound on and be good talking about it. # 1. is my reality now.... but #2 is where I want to go. HELP.

1 week in! Posted first three videos!
I'm an over-50 musician, and I've been planning to start a YouTube channel for almost 2 years. Lots of planning, researching, planning, thinking, planning, and more planning lol! And I finally bit the bullet and posted a week ago. My stats are small, but I'm so proud I FINALLY FINALLY did it! My channel is for midlife musicians who want to explore the many options out there in today's digital music landscape. I help them overcome fear of tech, of starting something new, of exploring outside the world of gigging and teaching. This is the journey I, myself, took starting in 2020 when I signed up for a course on how to write music for TV shows. I was terrified and hardly knew what I was doing. 5 years later, I have my music signed with 11 music agencies and I've had my music placed 56 times on TV networks around the world. So I'm hoping to help fellow musicians overcome their hesitation to TRY SOMETHING NEW! I haven't been active in this community because I started feeling like a fraud, just lurking and not posting. But I'm so happy to say that I can join the ranks of all of you who are doing it! Here is my channel if you want to check it out! I would love feedback! https://www.youtube.com/@ClassicalCreatives/featured

Great work @Robin R ! Many mucisians increase their viewers by reacting to other music (yes even the new musi) and making covers. Its like hearing the perspective of a classical musician on the current music and how they think it has evolved. Chanel exampls that I have been watching myself is Dokidoki Boi. They are stage performers who, worked in disney and now they use their experience by reacting to modern music (Korean pop, girl groups, Filipino POP) and giving comments on how the song was sang or the musical arrangement... etc. I saw their chanel grew from like 5 months ago only having 1k subs to now having 40k and their vids have 100k views. Amazing!
