I'm in total agony and I've decided to believe that I'm doing something wrong... Has something changed that I don't know? Because I'm doing everything as before, the same very precise prompts that always worked, added all the files from the Codex that I even modified to be practical and with exactly the information that is needed but Claude is acting like he has serious brain damage... basic things that a 5 year old would understand he doesn't understand, for example for one character in my novel it says that she understood some things when she was 12 and the profile says she is 18 and now he refuses to work until that is corrected. To be honest, what am I doing wrong and why is the max package with precise instructions system and user prompts acting like a drunken totally disinterested assistant who is there because it has to be there and is still convincing me brazenly. I'm too angry to understand if I even asked the question nicely, that is the problem but please help me, God willing.

Sorry for the spelling if it's wrong or for some sentences, I'm using this translator on my phone so it's possible that I messed something up.

Successful Saturday blessings brothers and sisters...
Success is not always loud or bright, It is simply showing up and trying with all your might. It is getting back up when things go wrong, And holding on even when the road feels long. It is small steps nobody can see, Prayers, hard work, and consistency. It is knowing there is still more ahead, Tears, setbacks, and all the things left unsaid. It is one more call, one more plan, One more step forward, yes you can. It is knowing your effort is not in vain, Growth often comes through pressure and pain. Keep going. Keep building. Keep believing. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.

This landed at exactly the right moment. "Growth often comes through pressure and pain" — I'm going to carry that line with me today. Thank you, Stacey.
Intro – Nikola, Neo‑Noir Mystery Writer
Hey everyone, I’m Nikola, a Serbian writer currently wrestling a big neo-noir mystery with techno‑folkloric horror elements, set in a near‑future dystopian world. First‑person, lots of psychology, conspiracies, and slow‑burn tension. My biggest creative challenge right now is balancing heavy AI‑assisted outlining and brainstorming with actually keeping my own voice on the page — especially while working long 12‑hour shifts and trying to squeeze real writing time out of what’s left of my brain. I’m here because I want a workflow that makes me a better storyteller, not just a faster typist, and PWS looks like it was built for exactly that.

@Stacey Brooks Hey Stacey, thank you so much. Today’s honestly been one of the harder days, so reading this really meant a lot. Nothing’s been going right. My Claude subscription ran out, and trying to switch over to free Gemini has been… rough, to say the least. On top of that, I kind of scattered myself in too many directions, trying to learn everything at once, and ended up losing a lot of time instead of focusing. But I’ll get back on track quickly—I know that. As for the novel, AI keeps pushing me to narrow it down into a strict, popular genre so it would perform better on Amazon. But the story just doesn’t allow that. I’ve gone so deep into it that even AI starts to “break” trying to process everything. It’s like watching Game of Thrones where somehow everyone is related to everyone—complete chaos. But I’m not backing down. I’m sticking with it because the story is genuinely something special. Not in a bragging way—I’ve really put in the work, researched everything, and built something I honestly haven’t seen before. And if I manage to pull this off—and I believe I will, because I’m stubborn as hell—I think it could leave a real mark. Maybe even shift something, just a little. I’m exhausted, not gonna lie. Yesterday I wrote for 15 hours straight. My brain kept telling me to go outside, enjoy the day, take a break—but I couldn’t. Right now everything is in my head, and I’m scared that if I stop, it’ll all just scatter. Thank you again for your kind words. I really appreciate it. Hopefully in a few days I’ll be able to send you at least the first act as a small thank-you.

@Stacey Brooks Thank you, this really means a lot to me.Now I’m doing this a bit out of pure stubbornness—“inat,” as we say in Serbian. And not just the first act… I’ll be sending you the whole book soon as a gift—for being the first reader. I believe in something simple: in life, good things come if you bite down and refuse to let go. No one but us can really stop us. You either grab life, or it slips through your hands before you even notice. The smart ones don’t just chase goals forever—they know when to stop and actually enjoy what they’ve built.
