Seeing things through. I’ve got some projects I’ve been working on that keep getting downgraded due to other projects becoming “priorities.”
Success in your Daily Routine
One little detail I seem to have missed in the past that helped me tremendously in my quiet time this morning, that I picked up on by listening to this yesterday. What I will call a brain dump - get all the tasks of the day written down at the beginning of quiet time to free up that mental space. It simply makes sense.

Paper is cheaper than brains. :)
Gratitude
Just finished, in it's entirety, the mindset success courses. The biggest takeaway, for me, is the mindset of gratitude. I've been implementing goals, quiet time, filling my Coke can, thinking big, and integrity to myself. But the part, that has been at the top of my mind, and acting upon, is the attitude of gratitude. Every time I'm feeling like crap, whenever I walk in to do a sale, when I need to boost my mood before seeing people, I take 30-60 seconds and just list things I'm greatful for. Like Tom said, can't be angry if you're greatful(paraphrasing). How often do you find yourself in a bad mood? How do you turn that frown upside down? I challenge you, next time you're not mentally in it, to take that 60 seconds and just SHOUT(if you're alone) out what you are greatful for.

Understanding the concept of the coke can was life changing for me. A powerful lesson I have taught my children and continue to reinforce to this day-- for them and for me.
Don't plan to fail, but I did
Finished the first lesson of business success today. In all honesty, the biggest takeaway is that I am the luckiest man in business. I took none of the right steps, started for the wrong reasons in a 'unknown' location and just sent it. And I made it. Somehow. The market was right and primed for me, there was no competition worthy of competing with, and somehow the cost of doing business was low enough for me to be profitable my first year and every year yet. How did you plan to fail? How did you plan to succeed? How were you just plain lucky?

Hey William, I would argue that your innate led you there for a lot of the reasons you said. No competition, a market primed for you. You have a great foundation I am not sure you give yourself enough credit for. :) For me, I spent most of the first half of my career planning to fail. Listening to the wrong people giving me advise about how to grow my business. All I did was get deeper in debt and nothing to show for it. Latching on to Principles in a system was what allowed me to plan to succeed. The more I apply them, the more I continue to learn and grow, the more success I have. There are so many layers and steps along the way. In the beginning I consistently learned, the more I know, the more I don't know. On and on I have gone, learning but more importantly Applying what I have learned to ensure my success. Awareness and learning only half the battle. Action is the other half. I will take luck. But I think that most of the time people confuse being fortunate with luck. For me, they are not the same.
