A few months ago I got a Whatsapp from Mike who was part of the Layers Method and was serious enough to take the Hands-On version with me. He lives in Indiana and wanted to be able to converse both to immigrants in his area and while going on holiday. I was always impressed whenever I logged in to the videocall and he had studied the agreed layer perfectly, and his questions were always thoughtful. I would like to sincerely thank @Robert Venter for this amazing program built on your Layers Method. I’ve been trying to learn Spanish for four years—on and off, using a lot of different apps. I can’t join any kind of spanisch class because I can’t understand nothing…Over the years, I’ve learned many words and watched countless videos how to learn languages ( I am German and have been learning English for four years, because four years ago my English was like it is now in Spanish). Whenever it came time to actually form a sentence or have a real conversation in Spanish, I would completely freeze. Nothing would come out, and I would search in vain for the words I had learned. Theoretically, I knew a lot of vocabulary, but I was never able to put the words together… But Robert, with these incredibly well-designed flashcards and your explanation I finally learned how to build sentences—and actually remember them and use them. I’m beyond excited. I honestly can’t thank you enough. Because of this program, I’ve broken through my language barrier. I still have a long way to go, and I’ve already “quit” learning Spanish more times than I can count. But now… there’s no turning back—because I’ve crossed an inner threshold. Finally!
