Hi Everyone, I'm looking for someone that has successfully used the BC SSIP. I am currently struggling to find a lender that will allow for a subsequent mortgage to be registered on Title. I am pre-approved fom this program, the suite is done, and all I am missing is a lender that will approve a secondary mortgage. If anyone has successfully used this program, please send me a DM. Hi everyone, just saying hello as a new member of the group. I’m really looking forward to connecting with you all and learning as much as I can. I’m a relative newcomer to Canada based in Toronto. Planning to finally make the leap into investing in real estate this year, with a particular interest in New Brunswick (Fredericton and Moncton).

I have a few things on the go this year and was wondering when people see the need for an accountant. Fingers crossed I will be converting a single family into a duplex and adding a basement suite to my primary residence. Does any of this have tax implications I should be aware of for 2025 tax season? I live in BC, does anyone know of a good accountant that maybe focuses on RE that I could reach out to? Thanks!!
