The hidden "warrior energy" that makes top coaches unstoppable
Want to know why some coaches get mediocre results while others are absolutely unstoppable? It's not their knowledge. It's not their experience. It's not even their sales skills. It's their ability to channel different "coaching archetypes" at exactly the right moment. Let me explain... There are 3 core coaching personas: The Oracle: Calm, balanced, asking open-ended questions. This is where most coaches live. Safe and comfortable. The Warrior: Direct, assertive, challenging clients to step up. The energy that makes lasting change happen. The Joker: Adding levity when needed, but used sparingly. (Because nobody takes the permanent joker seriously.) Here's something most people don't realise... You're not being fake or "putting on an act" when you switch between these styles. You're just testing different boundaries within yourself. Look, I'm naturally introverted. After running big events, I need to lock myself in a room for 5 days just to recharge. But I learned to channel extroverted behaviour when needed. The key is understanding that this isn't about becoming someone else... It's about accessing different parts of yourself at the right moment. Sometimes they need that Warrior energy to push through their BS. Not in a rude or aggressive way... But in that "I care too much to let you stay stuck" way. The magic happens when you can flow between these energies effortlessly. Calm and understanding one moment... Direct and challenging the next... A quick joke to break tension... Then right back to business. This is what separates good coaches from great ones.

There are many stories of ‘heroes’ rising to the occasion. They weren’t particularly courageous, but when the situation called for it, they stepped up. I think being able to tap into the oracle, warrior, or joker at the right moment requires that you understand what your client needs and rising to the occasion when it presents itself.

No time to grow your coaching business?
I have a friend who swears she has "no time" to grow her coaching business. Claims she's way too busy... So the other day, I asked her to walk me through her daily schedule. She wakes up at 9:30am. Does one yoga class. Plays a bit of chess. That's pretty much her entire day 😅 Yet she's "far too busy" to create content, do outreach, or talk to prospects. Here's the truth... Your average person (yes, even coaches) has 3-4 hours per day where they do absolutely NOTHING. Between scrolling... "Thinking about thinking about doing the thing"... And getting caught in social media cycles that waste 20+ minutes at a time... Most coaches are letting huge chunks of their day slip away. I've caught myself doing it too. Like when I go to post a simple link, get sucked into the social media vortex, and 20 minutes later... I've completely forgotten what I was meant to do in the first place. And that's just ONE example of how you lose 20 minutes. Now multiply that throughout your day... Your week... Your YEAR. The hard truth is - it's not that you don't have time to build your coaching business. You just have false limitations around time availability. Think about it: The coaches with the least client load often complain about being the busiest. Meanwhile, the most successful coaches somehow "find time" to consistently create, sell, and deliver. The difference? They don't create artificial time constraints. They don't let themselves live in that reality. So next time you catch yourself saying "I don't have time to grow my business"... Ask yourself what you're REALLY doing with those hours. The answer might surprise you.
