Meeting in one hour! 2pm EST
Notes Here: https://workflowy.com/s/first-community-tea/t8ZXXtmWF2vriVwW Video Recording: soon Let's meet and talk about anything you guys would like to bring up! Here are my ideas: - Plans for a new web site - Talk about a migration roadmap (moving to a new platform...off of whop / should we stick with Skool or not?) - How can I make this a better community for you guys? - I need input from you! - Roadmap for content creation - Do you guys miss the live streams on Saturday mornings or not? - Power Apps how to questions Everyone is invited, but I'll prioritize questions/answers by membership status: - Insider group members - Anyone/everyone - (Accelerator Students already have a chance to meet with me several times a week) There's a good chance I'll make this a reoccurring thing. Perhaps not every week, but at least once or twice a month. Accelerator & Insider students will be able to unmute and talk with voice. Other's can still share thoughts or ask questions, but at least initially, you'll simply use the chat window. If I call on or answer you question, I'll bring you on in case you need to go over the question in more detail over voice. https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/d1cd960a-681e-4c6c-8aee-ff96e8225c32@d893a47a-c8b5-4f8f-8ddd-ab0a112fc7a5

@Darren Neese I won’t be able to attend but I have a few points to raise. Skool is far better than Whop. We should have stayed with Skool. I’ve had problems with the other solution BBB you implemented. Skool is very user friendly. I was a member of the Skool template building and tech workshop groups but had to cancel when you moved to Whop. I didn’t sign back up for the group on Whop as the price was too high compared to the fixed price I got here on Skool. The direction you have taken towards paying courses, I understand it is your livelihood, but not all of us can afford to pay for that privilege. Especially if that means all other options are put on the back burner during an extended course. I think the Sat live streams are a good idea.
BIG BLUE BUTTON is now set up!
Feel free to register on the platform now: - https://bbb.superpowerlabs.app/ 4/14/25 UPDATE: BigBlueButton requires massive server resources, so I reserved a whole KMV8 server just for it and reinstalled it. It has the same URL, though: https://bbb.superpowerlabs.app/ Related access (that will integrate with BBB): Moodle is installed and ready: - https://moodle.superpowerlabs.app/

@Darren Neese moodle is not working for me. I registered for BBB but it now says my credentials are invalid. I’ve tried resetting my password but did not get a reset email
I resumed this Skool community for another month! 😎👍👍
...because everyone who has given me feedback on Whop hates it...me included. That was such a bad move on my part. Sorry guys. I do make mistakes, but I always try to make up for it and try again in a bigger/better way. Where will I host all the courses, community, etc. now? I just purchased the largest affordable VPS (virtual private server) I could find so that I can run the following [open source / free software] for our purposes: - 1️⃣ Big Blue Button: Instead of using Zoom or Teams, we'll use this: https://bigbluebutton.org/ (watch this YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/Aw3Ajuy3kyk?si=0-lcoEoU7khfuYpZ) - 2️⃣ Instead of Whop, we'll use Moodle, which 3 students over in Whop seemed excited about. The biggest upside of Moodle is that it integrates well with BigBlueButton. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/UCskncP1Z18?si=EmWE4P-6kA1CyIbO - 3️⃣ Coolify: for installing all the other really fun and exciting software, like NOCODB we can all use. Check out this 11 minute video I created for you guys: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwLU-QJTyBk&list=PLMgWds5p226lK3T58eTRGsTSs5_yS6iiB -- and in this I could provide more services for you guys that you could really get excited about, such as... - 4️⃣ Grafana: hook up your data sources, and look at all these cool data visualizations it can create! I included a screen shot on it here. - I've got so many things to share with you guys! Let me know what you think of BigBlueButton and Moodle. This is the core of what I'll install at first. I'll send out emails inviting you guys to it. Please provide all the feedback you'd like so I know if a certain tool is not preferred. I have to look into the legality of it, but I believe I could install either the developer or express edition of MS SQL Server we could share (each of us could have a DB). I'll need to look into the licensing agreement before doing so.

Great news. I completely zoned out when you switched to Whop as it was so hard to find anything.

@Darren Neese will we continue to get access here on Skool or over in Whop?
If then else issue
Hi, I am having issues with an if, then , else statement. Basically, I want to check a variable and set then set another variable but go no further if the check is true. For some reason, though, it is going and completing the code to the end (after the ;) I am thinking I am just structuring the statement incorrectly and have a close bracket in the wrong place, but I have tried so many different variations that I am now stuck. Code below and thanks in advance for any advice If(varAC="CGL", Set(gblShowModalProdMove, true), If(varAC="WS Wrapper",Set(gblShowModalProdMove, true), Patch( 'FLT Requests', Defaults('FLT Requests'), { JobType: "Finished Product Move", Location:"WS", TruckType:"Combi", ActivityCentre: varAC, Priority:2, Allocated: false, Completed: false } )); Navigate(scrSuccess, ScreenTransition.Fade))

@Steve Garbett it looks like you haven’t closed all your processes correctly. You have three processes, 2x If and 1x Patch. Everything enclosed in these have their ( ) completed correctly from what I can see. Before your ; you have 6 opening ( but only 5 closing ) you processes should end with 3x to complete the equation ) I.e. ))); Your navigate is showing an extra ) that is out of place at the end. It should be Navigate(scrSuccess, ScreenTransition.Fade) It’s strange it didn’t give you an argument error. Give it a try to see if it helps.
