Our team in Kampala Charles, Eline, Brian, and Phiona is doing the hard work of turning a product that looks good on paper into something that actually works in the real world. Every bug found, every edge case uncovered, every flow that needs rethinking... it's all part of the process. Building Africa's first AI-powered legal automation system was never going to be easy. We're dealing with complex AI pipelines, multi-language support, and a system that needs to work reliably for citizens who've never had access to legal help before. The bar is high and it should be. We're thrilled to announce that our first project in Uganda has officially entered Phase 1 Testing. This is a moment we've been working hard toward, and it feels incredible to see it become reality. The team is highly motivated and the team lead Charles showed me the first screenshots of the application. What makes this milestone even more exciting? The design is now being implemented with full support for the rich linguistic landscape of Uganda a country home to over 40 languages and a fascinating diversity of dialects. From Luganda to Acholi, Runyoro to Lusoga, we're not just building a product we're building something that truly speaks to people. Navigating multiple languages and regional dialects within a single country is no small feat. It's a beautiful challenge that pushes us to be more thoughtful, more inclusive, and more creative in our approach. This is just the beginning. Phase 1 is the first step in what we believe will be a meaningful journey and we can't wait to share what comes next.
