How can I improve my style ?
I mainly live in the casual to “smart casual” territory of dressing. Here are some typical fits I’d wear. I mainly focus on basic pieces in neutral colors and getting a flattering fit in them. How can I level up color or fit wise and what colors and items would suit me best outside of the typical ? I try to keep a somewhat minimal wardrobe as you can see I’m only wearing two different pants in these photos lol.

@Kevin Courington Thank you for the recommendations!. Currently on the lookout for some brighter colors in basics that I like...the few brands I like stick to mostly neutral colors so I’ll probably have to branch out a bit. As far as the tailoring were you referring to the pants in the photos specifically ? As far as comfort with these materials I’d say these are about as close fitting as I can wear these specific pants. The chinos are 100% cotton and the jeans are 100% cotton slevedge denim as well in a sturdy weight. I have a separate capsule wardrobe with more performance type blends that I can wear more fitted but in the past year or so I decided to build a seperate small capsule wardrobe of all natural fibers with no stretch for a more classic look.

@Steven Hotchkiss Thanks for the response. That seems to be the consensus here lol. Might have to branch out from my typical go to brands..they seem to stick to mostly neutrals
Fit Check and Footwear Recommendations
These are my first custom made trousers and i think they turned out to be great, the rise might be tad bit lower but I'm surprised by the work of the tailor. Regarding the shirt, i didn't like it because it was light colour in the image but after receiving, it turned out to be dark. Nevertheless, i decided to pair them with creame trousers and i believe they look great? But I'm missing on the footwear, these 3 items what i have, should i wear them or do i need loafers? I'm not going to tuck in my shirt tho. Any insight would be appreciated.

I think the sneakers if you go untucked and the suede Chelsea boots if you tuck the shirt.

OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Names Nick 38 yrs old from the U.S. professional musician and music educator. Been watching the YouTube videos on a Regular basis for a bit now and thought I’d check out the community. Never really thought about how I dressed until a couple years ago..so here I am :). Don’t need to dress super formal for my life. Mainly into the more casual/smart casual aesthetic.

I never do. It would add too much extra bulk in most cases
Fit for a skinny physique
What kind of fit should suit me? I have a rather skinny physique and I don't like baggy clothes, suggest some classy clothing.
