Experiment 1 update + Experiment 2 starts tomorrow 🧪
The ad numbers: 71 members | 76% engagement | Discovery rank 1,937 Visitors spiked significantly, from 10 to 155 then 254... the ad is clearly working. Conversions to signups? Not so much! So today I have updated my about page to hopefully make it even clearer the match of what people are clicking on the advert for. Now we wait and see if the gap closes. 6 days left on the 100 member goal... unlikely. But I said I'd run the experiment and document everything, so here we are. Experiment 2 starts May 1 (that's tomorrow for me). You voted. The results are in favour of Option B: 3x daily posting across Skool communities for 30 days. Claude, who I am training to support me, disagreed (strongly, in case you're wondering 😂 - I got a "I have told you 3 times to deprioritise..." blah blah) and voted for Option D: one sales conversation per day. The argument being that selling is the point of a business and I've been avoiding it...which is fair. But @Roberto Srpak framework made sense: content → conversation → conversion and the feedback from @Lidia Axe and @Virginia Schobel about showing up consistently before going into selling mode fits with me. So B it is. (And Claude does not get to decide for me but is fun to play with 😂). I'll track discovery rank, new members, engagement rate and whether it actually leads to any sales conversations naturally. Starts tomorrow...

@Niky Egerton nice update 👍 that visitor vs signup gap is always interesting to watch good move on tightening the about page - that’s usually where things click for the posting experiment, one thing that worked well for me: mix in comments too (posts + replies on other posts and comments there) even ~10 a day can give a nice boost… sometimes better than posting alone if you (or anyone here) want a second set of eyes on your about page, happy to share what stands out 🧭

@Niky Egerton haha yeah 😄 it doesn’t have to be perfect… even a few consistent ones make a difference you’ll quickly feel what works and what doesn’t 👍 btw Niky - sharing this again in case you want to run it after the update (might be useful for others too): About Page Audit
Day 30 is coming and I'm probs not hitting 100 members. We established that. 😂
But the experimenting doesn't stop it just changes. I want to do a 30-day experiment in May that is actually tied to growing my business, not just growing a number. So I'm putting it to a vote. What should Experiment #2 be? 🅐 Daily email experiment: email my list every single day for 30 days and track what happens to open rates, unsubscribes and sales. Does more contact = more revenue or more noise? 🅑 Post 3x daily across Skool: show up in communities consistently every single day and track whether discovery rank, new members and engagement move in proportion. Tagging into @Roberto Srpak's challenge on this one and the fact my engagement on Skool has been growing this community. 🅒 Create weekly YouTube videos across 4 weeks: commit to weekly video content on the From Job to CEO theme and track whether it drives real traffic to the community and the CEO dashboard. 🅓 One sales conversation per day: reach out to one real human every day who could benefit from what I offer. Track responses, calls booked and actual revenue. The most uncomfortable option (🤮) but selling is the point of business right... I'll run whichever gets the most votes. And I'll document everything -- what I did, what happened, what the numbers showed. What would you actually find most useful to watch? 👇

nice options Niky 😄 i’d go with a mix of B + D 1. post (and/or comment) daily 2. start conversations 3. then move a few into real sales chats but only with people who are already engaged and clearly interested keeps it simple and respectful of the space basically: content → conversation → conversion 👍

@Lisa Ludwig-Mackenzie time for action! :)
👋 Hi everyone! I’m Roberto, based in Zagreb, Croatia
I help Skool group owners build profitable communities and turn members into clients using a simple 3C model: 🔴 Content → 🔵 Conversation → 🟢 Conversion Been in business for 30+ years… tried a lot of things that didn’t work (and a few that did) 😄 These days I keep things simple and focus on what actually moves the needle. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with family or out sailing the Adriatic — that’s my reset button. I like the idea behind From Job to CEO: The Experiment — building in real time and sharing what actually works (and what doesn’t). That kind of honest process is where most of the learning happens. Glad to be here. Looking forward to learning, sharing, and building with you all 🧭

@Niky Egerton Niky, appreciate it 😊 and yeah, that’s definitely something to be proud of — New Zealand and sailing go together pretty well ⛵️ I’ll happily accept that it’s in your blood 😄

i’d probably need to speak with myself first haha 😛 day 1 - slow down and clear my head day 2 - sketch what i actually want to build (simple, no noise) day 3 - start talking to people and test it
