In music I find the seasoned pro much easier to deal with.. they have expectations based on reality, where as amateurs you have this kind of “you are supposed to make me famous” mentality which can be tempting to bite at. After all these years I’ve made my peace with it. I know where I am in the scheme of things which helps.. In martial arts it can be the opposite.. some of the guys that have been around a while are pretty hard headed which tends to bring out the “hammer” side of me..
What's the gap between how you think you come across and how you actually come across? How do you know this? ✔ The gap between intention and impact is where raw wiring lives.

How does your raw wiring show up in a sales conversation or a conversation where you're trying to get your point across? What do you do that works against you - even when you know you're doing it?
I have a fierce sense of justice and protection and so almost immediately begin to back track in pricing and sense of worth. I almost feel guilty charging for my services.. so i either immediately begin to discount . Or more recently aggressively state my figure and then fail to follow up due to the discomfort I’m feeling. It’s honestly been my hardest battle in life and I can see the effect it’s had on my family.
