My name is Natalie, and I am 44 years old. I am an aspiring police officer. I have wanted to become a police officer since I was five. Life has gotten in the way, and it’s taken me a long time to reach my goal. I’ve turned that time into a positive experience, working hard to better myself and preparing properly. I am a crisis counsellor working with many community members. At 35, I went back to school to complete my high school diploma. I then attended college and graduated with honours from the Police Foundations diploma program, followed by university, where I earned a combined Honours BA in Criminology and Policing. I have achieved all of this while working full-time, being a mom, a wife, and caring for my aging parents. Although I am proud of these accomplishments, my focus is the PREP test, which has been my biggest challenge and a personal goal I need to achieve for myself ,because this is who I am and where I can do the most good in this world. I wish all of you continued success on your journey and look forward to being your sister in blue. @myjourneytotheforce
