Your WINS of the day
This is one of the tools that have such an amazing effect on people's lives. To write down your wins of the day. To celebrate your valued actions, because it shows your brain what you care about, and that you celebrate that instead of trying to fix emotions and thoughts. Every day we're going to write down our three wins of the day. You can add pictures of the things. If you went to the gym, did a meditation, hung out with your friends, or worked on your business. Any win counts. Big or small. This is the first Wins of the Day post. Comment your three wins underneath.

My Gym Journey: Showing Up Despite Anxiety
Hey everyone! 🤍 I wanted to share a little bit of my experience with the community because I know there may be someone out there who is currently in the same position I was in. I hope sharing my story can help even one person take that first step! Before starting group coaching with Star, I avoided the gym because of my anxiety. The gym brought up a lot of thoughts, emotions and “what ifs” for me, and because of that, avoiding it felt like the easier option. Star encouraged me to go to the gym as it was something that aligned with my values. It was something I wanted to do and something I would choose to do if anxiety wasn’t making the decision for me. I had been avoiding the gym because of the thoughts and feelings that came up for me. Instead of waiting for those feelings to disappear, I made the decision to go anyway. And not just to any gym — I chose the bigger, busier gym that I would have chosen if anxiety wasn’t a factor. Was I scared? Absolutely. Was I anxious? 100%. But I went. During one of the first group calls with Star, we created a gym plan and schedule that I would follow. I committed to 3–4 gym sessions each week, with every session planned out. Whether it was leg day, back and biceps, or another workout, I knew exactly what exercises I was doing, along with the sets and reps. Having that plan gave me something to focus on when my brain was trying to convince me not to be there. And this became one of the biggest lessons for me. Something Star has always taught us. I didn’t have to get rid of the thoughts before I could take action. I didn’t have to feel confident before walking through the doors. I didn’t have to wait for anxiety to give me permission. I could feel anxious AND still do what mattered to me. When my brain would start throwing thoughts at me and try pull me into the anxiety, I’d basically say: “Cool… but we’re doing the leg press now.” 😂 And I’d continue with my workout. I didn’t need to argue with every thought or make the anxiety disappear. I just kept bringing my attention back to what I was there to do.

@Danai Danaka Thank you so much! Of course! 🩷 I’m always happy to share. Sometimes we just need a little reminder to do the hard things, even when our brains are telling us otherwise!

Tell me what Coaching Call you are attending (important)
Hey Live your Life Gang! Today our coaching call was about how to coach yourself with a moment-to-moment practice to overcome: Anxiety Intrusive thoughts OCD Panic attacks Depersonalization Derealization Health anxiety 🎥 The recording goes up later tonight. I'm editing it to keep the best, most valuable parts so you get the most value per second watching it. 💪 First question for you. Which call is YOUR call? Is it the Monday or the Tuesday one? Comment it in the comments. Monday 12:30pm PT or Tuesday 7pm PT And second let's talk about a possible time change for Tuesday. I want to see what's best for all of you. Just a reminder: 7pm PT in California is 10pm on the East Coast, and noon in Australia. Which of these can you do? Tell me EVERY time you can make. The more the better! 🕔 5pm PT 🕕 6pm PT 🕖 7pm PT 🕗 8pm PT 💬 Drop one comment with your answers. For example: "Tuesday is my call! In for tomorrow, and I can do 5pm, 6pm and 7pm." If you can only do one time, that's okay, just tell me which. I'm excited to see you guys on the calls! Love Star

What's your favorite GIF?
There's a skill in communication and there's a skill in having fun. Both will have amazing effects on your life. Great communication will strengthen your relationship with others and will raise your likelihood for you to get what you want. Fun will give you a feeling of aliveness. This will result in energy. And that energy you have to live your life. And of course fun is just enjoyable. Using Gifs on skool is actually increasing the clarity of your communication. It translates an emotional and visual message. What is your favorite Gif at the moment? Mine is this one as it represents friendship and connection. Also I love the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Love Star

For me, I’m just really excited to spend time with my family and friends! I’ve been so busy with uni and assessments lately, so having some time to slow down and be with my family will honestly mean everything to me this week ☺️ 💓 It'll also be supporting my value garden!
