10 contributions to Camping Wilderness Skool
Low water taught me something again.
The channel tightened, the work picked up, and a big gator was sitting right in the line I needed. I turned back. Listen to the story. 🎧 What’s your “turn back” line? Is it daylight, weather, animal sign, water level… or just a read of the moment you trust? Where the Map Ends, The WILD begins!! Stay Rugged.

Weather! We once had a tornado track just to our west while at Palo duro State Park. I was watching the skies changed and we had the warning from the parkbRangers that one was headed in our direction. Not super close yet but within 30 minutes. So instead of saying down in the canyon, I drove us out to the nearby town to Get out of the danger zone. We ended up eating at a restaurant. It gets your nerves going and your blood pumping

@Rodney Thompson Outdoor Skills It's a mixture of knowing this guy was getting mean, knowing tornadoes were already touching down, and knowing I wasn't going to let my family be in its path
Great campfire call tonight. 🔥
@Jim Flach and @Tyler Farrior r jumped on and we covered a little bit of everything — Skool growth, YouTube strategy, and even gardening by the moon. 🌙🌱 Appreciate y’all taking the time. Good calls all around. Where the Map Ends, The WILD begins!! Stay Rugged.

I'll go with C - 🌊 River / lake country because we have two rivers here in New Braunfels BUT we don't camp along it since there's very little public access. We love camping Guadalupe River SP though, but the campsites are maybe 1.5-2 miles away from the river
🍳🔥 Course 4 Drop — Module 2 is LIVE (Chuck Box + Gear Organizing)
Alright y’all — Expedition Kitchen, Module 2 is live. This one’s all about building your Chuck Box and getting your kitchen gear organized so you ain’t digging for a spoon like a raccoon in the dark. 😄🧰 Quick question before you watch: What’s your biggest camp kitchen mess right now? A) Can’t find stuff when I need it B) Too much loose gear / no system C) Cleanup stuff is always missing D) My kitchen tote is a black hole Comment A/B/C/D + one line: “Because ____.” 👇 Where the Map Ends, The WILD begins!! Stay Rugged.
