Hello everyone! I'm new to the community and am looking to build my bridal hairstyling business and clientele. I'm from Wisconsin and getting my name out there starting out isn't the easiest. Mostly because I'm not really sure where to start. Looking forward to learning and getting to chat!

Welcome Lydia! Being new, stepping out on your own, or any shift in your business, I definitely suggest starting with networking. Simultaneously, focus on your ideal client and your market. Then you can dive into Marissa's courses on packaging once you know who you are serving and what their priorities are.

Revamping Packages
Planning to update new packages for next year. Do you all see better success adding bridesmaids to the package or touchups, or a mix of both?

@Marissa Brennan Yes! I already have those options for the past few years, but I've seen it sway from brides focusing bridesmaids to touchups and back again. Updating to possibly include options for either version of priority.

airtable
Hey! I started using airtable and i am obsessed! It is seriously so much better than the google spreadsheet i was trying to use. I recently noticed that it has a feature for automations. Do you or have you (or anyone on here) used that feature and loved it? I am just now trying to figure it out but it seems like it might be highly useful! If you do use it lets share how and support eachother!

If you love that you will also love the automation on Trello!!! I use airtable to main data storage but Trello for movement through workflows.

Packages
I'm making some changes to my makeup packages and I'm curious what packages have been successful for others? Currently I offer 3, one for the bride only, one for the bride +6 and an all-day package.

you can also give a package for bride only but with touchup hours
