@Dan Quinlan Ohhh NOOOOO that's not good!! But safety first! Did they all enjoy it?

@Dan Quinlan Aww awesome!! Glad you finally got to watch it
Today has me a little overwhelmed…
and reaching for endless cups of tea. It’s one of those days where the calendar is packed and nothing can move: school drop-off → work → dentist → school pick-up → dinner → cheer games… all by 4pm. No amount of time-management magic is fixing this one! So I’m reminding myself I’m not Superman — some things will just have to wait. How do you manage on days like this? What’s your go-to move when life is “a lot”?

Oh I completely feel you here!! The guilt hits and the I shoulds start rolling in. But in reality you can only do so much and can't split yourself to be in multiple places at ones. My go to when life gets like this is to take a step back, see what I can really accomplish in the time I have and let the rest roll over to tomorrow. But most importantly, I make sure I take time for me
Halfway Through and It’s Flying By
I’m writing this from England — at the grandparents-in-law’s house — and somehow we’re already halfway through our trip. It’s going way too fast (and the tea supply is going way too quickly too). It’s made me realize how fast the rest of 2024 is moving. So I’m curious… 👉 Do you have any fun vacation plans left for the rest of the year? Or are you hunkering down until 2025? Bonus points if your “vacation” involves absolutely nothing — those are my favorite kind. 😆

Wow that has gone quickly!! Possible plans for some mini trips this year. But I have two HUGE trips for next year- Which will be a mix of exploring, experiences and lots of rest. FYI- We are in 2025 heading to 2026 🙈😅🥴

@Dan Quinlan We are thinking of a few mini European City breaks, still deciding where ect. The two for next year are both to Bali, one as a 3 week solo trip (It's been a life long dream that is now a reality) and the other is a month with Lils to Bali to see how she likes it and if it's somewhere she feels she could move to. That is tough!! I am happy for you that you are having a great time! Hahaha that's okay, I do things like this too!!
We’ve dropped 100 places… and my competitive side is twitching
Okay, confession time… I’m a little competitive. Since being back in England on vacation, I checked our community ranking and… we’ve dropped over 100 places! Now, I don’t want a group full of random people who never engage — we’re not building a ghost town. But if you know: 👩‍👧 Parents feeling stuck in their careers 💼 Colleagues who want more balance 😬 Or even that friend who keeps saying “I hate my job” every Monday …then invite them in. Because if it helps them and helps us, that’s a total win-win. Let’s climb back up the leaderboard with people who actually get it. So who’s one person you can bring in today? 💪

Dream jobs and reality checks
9 hours on a plane. 1 hour of sleep. Now officially running on tea and I’ve no idea what else. Somewhere between drifting off and turbulence, I started thinking about this: When you were younger, what did you dream of doing for a career and how different is that from what you’re doing now? Drop yours below 👇 I have a feeling a lot of us took some pretty unexpected turns.
