The cool kids ride the Skool Bus on May 5th, for our first Skool raid train 🫶🏻 This Monday the 20th at about 10AMest/7AMpst the sign up sheet with a dozen spots will be posted by @Melanie Calloway - More spots might open up, depending upon on how quickly this fills. We will have a live skool call or two leading up to iron out any questions. Raid trains are as easy or hard as you make them. We are going to make them loose and easy! $200 in prizes up for grabs, let's make it fun!! ❤️🐢💃🏻, Brad/threefortytwo

Yay... I will set my alarm so I can be up to sign up!
Raid Trains
Maybe we should have a skool raid train? I dont know what is entailed but I could help organize it if anyone is interested? They seem to get fun audiences and it might be a good way for those of us that dont have many shows under our belt to get some exposure.

@Kara Kimmel I think stick to a train because that is what everyone already knows on whatnot

@Kara Kimmel I love the idea, but probably not wise to change.
An interesting lot
What do you think about this lot? Say it is 500pc of resalable rhinestone jewelry. Would you pay $500? If you average even $3 per item, you would 3x your purchase price, but it would take 3 shows. Is $10ea average sale attainable? Would you get rhinestone fatigue? Would your viewers get rhinestone fatigue? Would it not matter because you're doing 10sec sudden death $3 and go free shipping? This could be an interesting lot to use to try a speed show. Show and go. Sudden death, don't stop to breathe. Just make sales and blow out the stink... https://ebay.us/m/nV4rXS

I don't feel it's worth anything close to that for a reseller.... mostly clear rhinestones, and newer 90s to mid 2000s are much harder to sell that colored or true vintage clear rhinestones. Just my thought.

Jewelry Rant
Well, half rant, half advice. Plain and simply put, I'm tired of watching new people or less knowledgeable jewelry people eat shit sandwiches from experienced individuals in this industry. It's just jewelry. It's not a secret recipe. It's not saving anyone's life, and it certainly doesn't make you better than the next guy/gal. Just be kind. Yes, you studied for 30 years, congratulations. I hope I'm not like you when I reach the same point. If jewelry makes you feel poorly toward other people or makes you want to be negative, then maybe you should consider a different hobby until you're ready to act like a respectable/respectful person. XO, Brad

@Kathleen Johns treasure hunting and researching the treasure is the best!
Peking Glass
I was thinking about terms folks use incorrectly. Two come to mind as I have a baby sleeping on my chest. 1. Peking Glass. 2. Micro mosaic Peking glass is layered often showing a white layer in the “carving.” What most call Peking Glass should be called “mottled glass .“ Micro mosaic pieces are very hard to see the tiles and are rare. They’re often museum quality whereas mosaic jewelry you clearly see the tiles—sometimes with empty space between tiles. I’ll try to find pictures.
